We have a little curio table display we’ve started for our kids who are homeschooled. We’ve been collecting all sorts of things from nature as a hands on science approach. This was a great addition. We ordered the XL one and it came true to size weighing 74g. It’s a great size for little kids to be able to handle. Our two year old might have loved it the most. The little treasure chest it came it made it lots of fun for my kids. And they loved learning about it from the info in the certificate of authenticity. We 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about it.

Not for children under 13; it's too small for younger children, and it can easily be swallowed. But for a collector of such items, it is well worth every penny.

Came quickly and has an interesting color but I wish they give further instructions on how to care for it for people who are unaware

Outstanding size. The smell of gun powder is pure of Campo de Cielo Argentina.

It's just what I was hoping for. I was afraid it would be tiny or cheesy, or that I couldn't get it out of the package, but fears weren't realized. My grandson will love it! I'm glad it came with a description card as well. :) Highly recommend.

What a great piece of the very difficult finds. This came with a certificate of authenticity and it’s a perfect piece to go along with my collection. Meteorites are hard to come by and I was surprised to find this as cheap as it was and being fully intact. It’s composed of what our planet core is, iron and nickel, but it’s a known meteor that is documented. I couldn’t be more pleased as I have a piece of space debris from the Campo Del Cielo Crater that also is the very material King Tuts dagger was made from. It’s value is minimal on here but to me it’s a priceless piece of significance because of the history. I’ve spent much more for much less and I’d say if you want a real meteor that traveled the cosmos and just can’t go to these places like myself then go to them. This is a real documented meteor with the USGS and other organizations. There are many places you can get samples of this meteor but I’d beware because I have been victim of fakes. I was directed by a meteor site to them and they are legit.

I got this for my husband, and he loves having a piece of a Super Nova, as he says. The meteorite that we received is similar to the one shown in the listing and every bit as impressive. The treasure chest they include is hilarious, and only suitable if gifting this to a kid (we will give chest to our grandchild). Interesting point, this fragment is from an impact site in Argentina, it came down only 4,000 years ago. There is a Smartcar sized piece that marks the area it came down in (found it in Wikipedia.). This little space lump is pretty heft for its size. I think it's well worth the price paid. :)
