Get ready for third grade with this funny, heartfelt story about figuring out who you areโone school day at a time! Robbie York has a plan. This year, he's finally going to crack the code of elementary school coolness. That means no more teddy bear T-shirts, no more being called โBobbyโ by his mom in front of everyone, and definitely no more being picked on by bullies like Bo Haney. Robbieโs guide to being cool includes grown-up clothes, a new attitude, and acting like nothing bothers him. But as the school year unfolds, he discovers that being โcoolโ isn't just about how you lookโit's about being confident, kind, and true to yourself. Review: Great buy! - Love, love, love!! My son is going into the third grade. I thought it would be a fun summer read for him and oh boy is it. He has been audibly laughing out loud and just so tickled with the story. Great book! I do want to add my son doesnโt not usually enjoy sitting down with a book to read. So for him to enjoy a book this much speaks volumes. Review: Must have book for 3rd graders - My son is going into 3rd grade we read this book over summer great book. Easy to read relatable stories we looked forward to what was going to happen in the next character. My brother read this book in the 3rd and many years later this book is still relatable. Definitely a must have for a 3rd grader especially boys.

Cute read!
This is a fun book to read to third graders at the beginning of the year. Itโs short and funny! We laughed and laughed. Beware there is a part about him wearing underwear with pictures on it. Depending on your class, you may want to skip that part. Overall, fun read!

Sweet lesson to learn
This is a cute story. I am a teacher and we just read this as one of our chapter books. It has a really cute lesson that Robbie learns about being cool. The students were interested in it. The only thing I didn't like was the chapters were short and not numbered which made it harder to do daily lessons, but overall this is a cute book. I received it before schedule and in good condition. Will be reading with my son, who also happens to be in third grade.

Great Little Chapter Book
I used to read this little chapter book each year to my classroom of 4th graders, even though the book is about 3rd graders. In the story, the main character, Robbie, discovers that โ being coolโ involves being kind. Robbie is chosen by his teacher to be a reading buddy with a bully who struggles in school. The book has a quiet message that how we treat others is more important than being fashionable. I recently purchased a copy for my granddaughter so that she can enjoy the story too.

Good book to get you little ones excited...
My son is about to โstartโ 3rd grade, is still havenโt told him he wonโt be going back to his school building, so heโs been anxious about it. I left the book at his bedside so he could see it as soon as he woke up and when he did, he was very happy about it. The chapters are short, so the kids wonโt get too overwhelmed reading it. We havenโt read the whole book, but so far heโs enjoying it and heโs already doing things the main character is doing to prepare himself for THIRD GRADE.

Spiritoso e accattivante
