This is a couple of millimetres smaller than the original Rubik's Cube - but not to be confused with the build quality of the original cube from the 1980s, which is far, far superior, but stiffer to move. However, the Nexcube's movement is very smooth and easy to spin and learn the solving algorithms. The coloured caps do come off, occasionally dislodged with a fingernail, which leads to a cheaper feel. It was blister packed with a tiny stand, but there were no instructions on how to adjust the tension, but it's from the central blue "cube", but we found this awkward to use.

Good cube for the price, tension is adjustable, movement is smooth allowing for finger tricks and corner cutting is excellent straight out of the box. For the price you pay this is a great speed cube, I always have one in my work bag as the students like to have a play with it, and at this price you don't mind if it gets dropped.

When it first arrived it was amazing, it worked very smoothly and really helped me improve. on the second day of having it, it was in my pocket and a of piece fell out ,I put it back in but now it won't solve. Overall I would get this product but you just have to be careful with it.
