Wonderful lighting kit. It really makes the bonsai stand out. It does take patience to install but it's worth it.

Bought this for my fiance because he loves Legos and he's been nagging me for this on a long time. When I finally got this for him as a gift, he was so happy assembling it and with the lights that I bought along with it, the little bonsai tree came to life on our little coffee table. It's very nice decor in our living room. Can be battery operated or connected to electricity via USB cable.

Some breaking and remaking parts of the Bonsai set for light install, light wires are extremely small which can be frustrating to connect, but after all that these lights are stunning and really add another level of sophistication to this LEGO set. Standard set can be plugged into USB or connected to AAA battery pack.

Fun product once you get it together. They include a picture set of instructions but expect you to use a QR code for more detailed instructions. Once you get to the site, it is expected for you to register your name, etc. to be able to advance to the real instruction page. I did not want to register, sooo I did not get the detailed instructions. Fortunately, I have been building models long enough to figure it out. What happened to the days that good instructions came with the product?

This product didn’t work

Very cool! But difficult to actually assemble as the kit does not come with specific instructions and you have to look them up. The Lego kit itself is complicated and adding the lights is an additional challenge.

My daughter bought this with her own money and the last bag of pieces wasn’t included. She didn’t realize it until she was finishing. She’s so sad.
