what is the stone on the cover?

It is essentially hard plastic it's not exactly a real stone, and as shown in blue, the actual faux stone that came was orange/yellow. Great journal all in all, but you might get something a bit different than shown . 🦂🌵🦎🦋

Is it refillable?Can this be filled with extra paper? If so what size/kind?

I'm not sure. I threw mine away because it was a completely different product than what is pictured. If you do end up buying this and somehow get the correct thing, if the paper is anything like what I received, I would hope you'd be able to to take out what it comes with and put in your own. The paper in mine was basically a thicker type of brown paper towel paper. Ink bled really easy and pages were stuck together. The whole book especially the pages also had a very strong chemical smell. I would not recommend this unreliable company to anyone. Just save your money. Spend your money on something that you know is good quality and that you know will be what you ordered when it comes in the mail.

They are not. It's more of a sketchbook style, blank pages.

Can you use a fountain pen on the pages without the ink "bleeding"?

I just purchased the book and have not tried ink because it's a gift. But the pages seem strong enough to handle the pen.
