Rollerblade Bladerunner Women's Micro Ice Recreational Adjustable Junior Skate

These aren't skates for a child who wants to take serious lessons, but for fun, they are perfect. My daughter says they are comfortable and she was able to skate normally in them. We haven't had to use the adjustable size feature yet, so we'll see how that works out next winter. She loves the design and look of them.Only complaint is the top buckle doesn't always stay down, but it's not a constant problem. I'd buy them again and recommend to others.

My daughter is just starting to skate so these were a great choice for recreation starter skate. She isn't doing anything fancy just messing a toy with friends on the local rink. The skates are easy for her to get on and off.they have held up well to bumping and scratching. The adjustable part is a little hard to move but once locked in place it stays there. So it's not like the kid can mess about with it or that it can slip while she is skating.probably not a skate for serious sports but for casual skater it works fine. Also there is a good amount of padding, no blisters or painful rubbing.

I wanted to give it zero star or maybe negative star if there was an option. I purchased this seeing good reviews online for my 6 year old daughter whose skate size is about "3" and that these were adjustable between the size of 2-5 which seemed like a great option.When the shipment arrived - One of the skates was stuck at "2" and would not budge I requested for replacing these. In the meantime at a local Modell's store I checked out the same skates and two separate sets of skates had the same issue. Both had problem with the right skates. I waited for the replacement and guess what, both the skates are jammed at "2"...So it seems like the company is making a batch of defective pairs!!!I am surprised that I am the only one facing this... what are the odds that 4 pairs turn out to be defective!Well I am sending both the skates back in their original boxes - a lot of time and effort wasted - added to that the frustration!.Bladerunner is not for me!

We chose these skates because:1. the online reviews were excellent2. wanted a pair of skates that could grow with our daughter3. they appeared to be fully padded, thus comfortable4. liked the idea of a ski-boot-like claspMy 5 yr old spent 2.5 hours skating with these and had NO blisters! That has never happened before. They kept her feet warm and were comfortable for her. They are super easy to get on and off. And, as an added bonus, they are super cute!I would definitely recommend!

These skates have worked great for my daughter, and she really likes them. She's currently on the small end of the skate adjustment (she's 7 and recently switched from size 1 to 2 shoe). The skates fit great. They're easy to get on and off, but also seem to provide good support. She's learning to skate now (goes about 3-4 times a month). I'm looking forward to her using them for years to come.

Had to be sharpend.. We live in Alaska So we do a lot of ice skating.. This year no snow for us all lower 48.. Hoping the size 2-4 work for next year.....

My daughter loves to ice skate, but screamed when putting on the rental skates. She said they hurt her feet. So after a couple of weeks of looking into skates I found these. Not only are they super comfy she says they keep her feet so warm. The best part is we will have them for a couple years as the size adjust.

Great skates - love the fact that they grow with the child and can be used for years. Seem to be more solid than the lace-up skates - love how they are like ski-boots at the top and have more of a "sneaker" feel. The kids so prefer wearing these skates over the rental skates by far.
