Useful flashlight.
Bought it after watching several reviews on YouTube. On turbo, this little torch is certainly dazzling with an amazing throw. But heats up pretty quickly in that mode. The medium mode is perfect for normal use. Yet to guage the battery life as I haven't used it extensively. Could give an update on that. All in all, pretty impressive for its size on first impressions. Certainly expect it to last as the build and finish are first rate. ** Review after 2 years of purchase. The video I posted doesn't do it justice. The only complaint I have is the switch which is almost flush with the body. Results in seconds of fumbling around with your thumb trying to switch it on in the dark. Glad I haven't had to use it in emergency situations which would require a quick response. Otherwise, it's still a dandy and bright (I mean bright) little flashlight.

Not upto the mark
As mentioned in the manual of the torch the throw of beam should be 680 meters but while testing on ground the throw is 200 to 260mtr max. Further the torch is getting very hot while in turbo mode. Hence returning it.

Very bright, great quality, compact size, good battery life.
Extremely bright, great throw, great battery life, for the size of this light it really is one of the best bang for buck! Compact enough to wear on your belt without really feeling the weight of it. The levels of brightness makes it very versatile. I mainly use it for boating at night, the long throw allows you to see objects far away that a traditional flood light cannot achieve. My only negative experience is it gets pretty hot when it’s in turbo mode for a long period of time.

Seriously, this is the one
Economical and throws a beam! I have quite a few top dollar flashlights. This beast packs a big punch! Ive bought 2 others after my first one. This is a 10, for size, throw, and flood. Rechargeable! No more expensive batteries in a charger.

Better than expected!!
Ok so first, I own over 20 semi- expansive to expensive flashlights under the $200 dollar range. This flashlight, for the price point, is an outstanding light. I get a great throw, decent width of beam, waterproof flashlight with good knurling and fits well in the hand. Battery life is very good, chargers fairly quickly from what I've noticed but I never rely on just 1 light so that part I don't pay great attention to.

Nice hand held light
Full Palm size flashlight. Plenty bright. Shines farther than really needed. Built solid. Everything works. Will use it next to bed. Controls easy to learn and understand. Not much difference between high and turbo. That’s a good thing. Longer run time. Nice white light. No magnet on tail but stands up without issue. It’s a nice flashlight, not weapon. Strobe is blinding. Would buy again.

Powerful Light
I purchased this ThruNite Catapult V6 after owning the smaller ThruNite Archer 2A V3 for a short time and finding that lighter flashlight to be well made and effective. And I wanted a much more powerful light to use in the evenings at our property in the country where there are few neighbors and little ambient light. The Catapult V6 is indeed very powerful and I particularly like how it can be directly charged with the USB-C port in the side of the light. I do find that the switch is a bit finicky, it is almost completely flush with the side of the light which in most circumstances may be good (to avoid accidentally pressing the switch and turning on the light), however it also makes the switch difficult to find in the dark, a point mentioned by other reviewers here. I also have found that the switch will sometimes stick in the pressed position so that you need to consciously push it to release it and be able to turn the light off or cycle it through the various power levels. In fact, when I first received this light I thought that the switch was defective and I returned it to Amazon and ordered a replacement, but when I receive the second light I found that it had the same characteristic. So this seems to be a feature of the switch design that you need to be conscious of. Long term durability is not yet known since I've only had this for a short time. I'm hopeful that the included battery (5000 mAh 26650) will have a reasonably good life. I've noted other reviewers comment that the included 26650 battery is 'non-protected' which is a less expensive version of this size battery, something I'm not familiar with and will need to research further. I expect that eventually it will be necessary to replace the battery, after it has gone through a certain number of charge/discharge cycles, and I do not know it if will be necessary to purchase the replacement directly from ThruNite (or here on Amazon) or if I can use any 26650 battery including possibly a 'protected' one that may have some advantage?
