Women's Helen Thong Sandals

Probably my 6th pair and all time favorite summer wear everyday sandles. Love the support for my arches and heal cup for my wobble ankles. Plus they stay put and I've never gotten blisters. For and look better than my Birkenstocks. ❤️

I love Mephisto Helens. Item was great. No issues. I am a long time wearer of Mephisto Helens and as we live in South Florida I wear Helens year round. Very comfortable.

Years ago I had a bone spur on my left heel, size of half an egg. I had been wearing flip flops for years, went to doctor thinking I'd need foot surgery, he told me to get down to the shoe store and try on either Mephisto or Burkenstocks, "Get some decent shoes" I found Helen, so comfortable, expensive, Yes, bought a pair, in 6 months the bone spur was completely gone. I wear one pair for 2 and a half years, all day, every day! After 2 and a half years my feet start to hurt, know it is time for a new pair. I keep several pairs in reserve. I have a narrow foot, high arch, high instep. My advice is that if you have gotten by with crummy shoes for years and are now having major foot problems, before you have to have foot surgery, try a good shoe and for me, this one works great!

Beautiful and great quality sandals

I've always wanted these and was excited to find them on Amazon, specially on sale. I purchased these in black as well as the navy. For some weird reason the navy pair are more comfortable than the black. I love the navy color, never had an issue with the piece between the toes, the heel and arch support are fantastic. I especially appreciate the layer of cushion over the cork footbed. They are very casual yet complete a "look" with wide pants. Now if they would only put the dark brown ones on sale!!

Edit: These and the Mephisto Heidi continue to be my favorite summer sandals. I discovered, rather late in the game (because I have discarded several old pairs) that there is a Mephisto repair service. For about $75 you can get the entire inner and outer sole replaced. Since the leather straps tend to last much longer than the soles, this might actually make a lost of sense -- for about half the cost of a brand new pair you can replace the part of the sandal that has worn out. I am very likely to have a pair of my Mephisto Heid's refurbished since this is a style that has been discontinued (and I have four pair of them in various states of wear). These are comfortable and fit well on a narrow foot. You can punch additional holes in the strap as the leather gives and stretches, so that they continue to fit. I have been buying them for years and years. Some of the leathers are softer than others -- the tan grain are more comfortable than the patent or waxy. I need to wear a lift on one sandal to compensate for leg length discrepancy. I have a 3/8 inch wedge inserted by a shoe repair shop, into the rubber wedge. These sandals, and the other Mephisto "H" styles enable me to wear open sandals all summer but still accommodate my needs. I wear these, alternating with the Heidi style, all summer. I am generally not at all hard on sandals and shoes but find that the Mephisto sandals tend to start looking beat up fairy soon. The edges of the sole at the toe area start to curl up and the footbeds show soiling. The sueded footbed quickly becomes smooth and worn looking. I reserve the newer pairs for dry weather only and use the oldest ones on wet days. But the sandals remain comfortable and look alright when on the foot. Because these meet my special needs I continue to buy them, usually a new pair every year or every two years. Just hope they continue to make them with no changes. It is a great convenience to be able to order them online and know that each new pair will be exactly like all the other ones I have ordered.

Arrived new with tag but not new in box. Still brand new with no signs of wear or damage. Fit is perfect in size, consistent with my danksos or Birks. SUPER comfy and supportive!!! This is my 2nd pair. First pair lasted 4 summers almost daily use. Constructed with a dense/rigid cork footbed and sturdy rubber sole that does not deform compared to the knock offs. I usually require inserts in shoes to correct pronation, and these sandals definitely provide the support i need. The deeper heel cup and high enough arch construction let me walk all day no problem without foot or knee pain. They are not for wide feet. I have an average food width and the straps are extended out to 2nd from last notch. If you have a wide foot, especially at toe box or forefoot I would recommend birkenstock instead

The most comfortable stylish sandals I've worn! Bought these to replace my old pair of about 8 years wear. Worn in many countries over various terrain including outback Africa. Snug fit but so well made it's hard to know they're on at times. Toe bar in the right place (at least for me). Leather models to foot shape as does the base. Beautifully made and lasts. Old sandals still wearable and not baggy or split in anyway but just wanted the treat of a new pair. Just polish now and then to keep like new. Hope to buy some other colours. Excellent sandals and well worth the money!

I had thought that I'd ordered the matte black leather style, so the shiny patent was a surprise. They are stiffer and less comfortable because the patent doesn't give as much as leather does, and the look is quite different. Rather than return them, I decided to use them as a dressier pair. Just be sure of the exact thing you're ordering.

I think these are my 3rd pair of Mephisto Helen sandals. I hunted high and low on the internet to find my colour and size. I love them so much, can walk miles in perfect comfort and the are stylish and of excellent quality

Doverosa premessa, c'era stato un disguido interno sul colore del sandalo, non corrispondente alla foto, per cui Legend aveva annullato l'invio. Li ho contattati, rispondono subito, gentili e cortesi, e ho riordinato i sandali, sono arrivati in breve tempo. Sono molto comodi, come tutte le Mephisto il modello è questo, ma sono in pelle bianca non verniciati. Mia madre ringrazia
