I compare most everting I purchase looking for honest reviews and reviews that have real value unlike someone giving an item one star because it arrived 2 min late or was the wrong color that’s not helpful people and not the products fault for lowering the score. So like another review on here I was comparing mostly to the Housable castors. I seen nothing that pursued me to spend more money on those. These were individually packaged in bubble wrap, included a 1 year warranty with an instruction card included on how to activate said Warranty. There was one piece of information I don’t recall seeing on this wheel and that’s the thickness of the material on the wheel which comes to 5/16”. Also these are the 3/8” threaded post and I installed them on a small work table that had metal legs and hard plastic inserts on the end and when I used my dial caliper the size of the hole in these particular end caps came to .338, short of the .375 3/8” takes up however these actually fit perfectly like the holes themselves were threaded. The posts did not just slide in the hole but I was able to thread the post thru the opening like it was an internal nut. I found that to be very desirable. I can’t say for the other brand but this one came with one flat and one lock washer with a nut that requires a 14mm wrench or you can choose to use the stamped piece of metal called a”wrench” that was included. I chose a box wrench. Also I chose to install an additional larger diameter flat washer between the plastic cap on the leg and the top of the wheel assembly. I felt a second washer was warranted spreading out the force of the nut onto a larger area instead over what someone might consider a built in washer on the wheel housing, ( I do not), I also chose to add some red loctite permanent Threadlocker 271 on the threads as I also don’t put a lot of faith in lock washers as the only means of preventing nuts from working loose. These casters roll perfectly smooth over a very not so smooth concrete floor. This helped raise the overall height of my table which only helped the matter, the locking mechanism is easy to see and ma . For the money I can’t see what any other caster could offer that had a higher price, even Harbor Freight wants $6 per wheel for same wheel. I would trust the company again if I had to order wheels which I most likely will be doing for another project. More expensive doesn’t always mean better product and cheaper doesn’t necessarily mean inferior or junk as this is an example of high quality while being cheaper.

After MANY years, the wheels on my Harbor Freight seat were shot. I could have just as easily have purchased a new seat but there was nothing wrong with this one, and other than the wheels, it is still probably better quality than what is being offered today. Because these are a “universal” type part, be prepared that you may need to change something to make them work. In my case, I had to add some fender washers under the nuts to make for a more secure mounting. I gave each wheel a little “spritz” of silicone lube and they really roll! I’ve been pretty busy in the garage the last few months since installation and I am very happy with how these casters worked out. Just remember, measure everything twice and then add a little bit just for good measure to allow for any modification you may need to make.

Purchased these to put on a vintage Pincor generator I restored. I could not be more satisfied with the ease of the installation or how well they worked for this project. The generator is VERY heavy, and I was looking for something to make it easier to move around. These fit the bill perfectly. The casters are constructed solidly, with no concern about any breakage from the weight on them. The rubber on the wheels minimizes vibration and noise, and when the wheels are locked, they prevent the generator from moving—a definite upgrade from the rubber feet that were on the generator.

Good deal for the $

Bought these to replace the original crappy casters on my Harbor Freight mechanic's stool. These seem to be very well made, high quality casters. They fit perfectly, roll very well and have 2 sets of ball bearings for support.

I put these on the bottom of garage cabinets that hold 200+lbs of tools and what-nots. They are easy to install and roll easily. Each wheel has the ability to lock. Solid construction. Fit on almost any standard garage cabinet.

great value, great product. I had a project, I wanted to make my own scooter to use on the lawn, which required large wheels. I used pressed wood, Just 'cause it was on hand. Next time I'll use something better.

These sturdy castors are very well made, roll smoothly, and easily lock with a foot push on the lever. Excellent quality. I am using them on the bottom of a heavy tool table and they are supporting the weight of the heavy metal table and the tool without problems. They make moving the big tool around the workshop so much easier! They come with the necessary hardware required for quick installation. Amazon has the best price for the quality. Highly recommended.
