I love and highly recommend this system for mounting your cell on your car dashboard. There's really nothing to break. Over time, I suppose the glue adhesive for both the mount on the phone and on the dash could break down, but let's face it, this is 3M and they make this stuff to really STICK. Besides which, 3M makes replacement sticky pads you can buy if that happens. What's more, you can maneuver your cell phone all around so it faces you, or your passenger or the sky...or whatever. I also find it very handy to use in the kitchen- if I'm following a recipe online, I can just stick my phone to the metal trim of the microwave over the stove and have the recipe at eye level. This isn't the cheapest system in the world, but it's not prohibitively expensive either. And since there's no plastic tabs or shaky velcro to keep it in place, it has high longevity value.

First off worth every penny . I’ve bought these over my life time . Never disappoint and works on anything metal and magnet . Works well with the car mount. Perfect size and holds phone weight perfectly. Easy to install on device . If you use a magnetic charger , this isn’t for you .

Fantastic product! Works really well on the ball in my car. Plus I work in construction and I can stick my phone on anything metal surface and it's really secure. I stuck it on my truck one time to listen to music and then drove off and when I got home it was still right there

I have these in every car and they hold 100% No mess easy to install and o bulky phone holder to look at. Simply stick your phone to it and it’s magnetically solid.

This has got to be the best phone stand. I use it in all my vehicles. It stays put, it doesn't shift because of the weight of the phone. You can move it and rotate it and it stays were you put it. Will buy this brand in the near future for Christmas gifts.

THE FIRST ONE I HAD DIDN'T EVEN LAST A YEAR BEFORE IT FELL OFF. I'M HOPING THIS ONE WILL STAY ON. PRICE WAS CHEAPER THAN THE ONE I BOUGHT IN THE STORE AND BECAUSE IT HAS 3M STICKER I'M PRETTY SURE IT WILL HOLD BETTER THAT THE OTHER ONE.

I've been using Steelie magnets and ball sockets 4 yrs, since I started with my iPhone 6. I use the "dash mount" connection, tho so far I've mounted it everywhere but my dash. I have a mount in the middle of a kitchen cabinet. Some may object esthetically, but it's small and is surrounded by stainless steel appliances, so it looks fine to me. (I've considered removing all cupboard knobs and sticking these dash mount knobs over the filled screw hole, leaving them to function as doorknobs as well as choices of where to put ny phone.) It's the perfect place for a phone as I make breakfast and read my phone. Now, however, I have one of the heavier phones around, a Samsung Galaxy 9+, and I worried at first that the magnetic connections wouldn't feel as solid a link-up as I did my lighter phone. But after a month of using them with this new phone, I can still say my Steelies are as great as ever! I pop the 9+ on the cupboard knob in the kitchen to follow recipes, charge it at nite on the knob of a pedestal in my bedroom. And it couldn't be more secure. In fact, I just ordered a dash Steelie knob finally to place on my, yes, dash. How irreplaceable is this magnetic ball and cup joint to me? Well, I originally bought and charged my big new phone on a kind of slick wireless charger--I had to find a slightly tortured way to place the magnet on the phone case without it interfering with the tall (but beautiful) wireless charging device. Phone was charging fine. All looked good. Then I read in the phone's manual that you're not supposed to have any "foreign material" between the phone and the wireless charger. It could harm the battery. What? Not even a case? No, I am not willing to take the case off and on every day. Nor am I willing to leave my phone naked and unprotected all nite in a house that sees kids, adults, cats, and dogs, all about their nocturnal business. It didn't take two seconds to put my wireless charger in the drawer. It took two minutes to strip off the magnet (the dental floss works) from awkward placement and put it at the best balanced fulcrum. The convenience of solid, safe places to put my phone (I can always find it on one of the ball sockets) interests me far more than "slick" technology that requires removing my case every time I want to charge my phone. Steelie technology (magnets!) wins out over wireless (what everyone is supposed to need now). At least for me. For now.

Excellent product does exactly what it says and very well made.

I have been using Steeley for a couple of years now and I got a new phone with a new case and needed a new mount. This little steely mount works perfectly.

Habe 3 davon! Will sie nicht mehr missen. Keine Probleme mit Handystörungen! Habe sie aber auch nicht direkt aufs Handy geklebt, sondern mir ein transparentes Hardcase geholt und darauf geklebt. Es gibt für mich momentan keine bessere Alternative. Man muss sich nur daran gewöhnen, dass die Kreditkarten nicht direkt mit dem Magneten in Kontakt kommen sollten. Die Haltekugeln haben schon den 3. Autowechsel mitgemacht. Die Magnetkraft lässt logischerweise nicht nach und man muss lediglich neues Montageband holen. Auch nach jahrelangen Gebrauch, absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!

This is the best system that i use for 10 years but it has an issue: it block the wireless charger capability of my iphone.
