What is the size of pressing area (plate? not sure of correct terminology)?

I purchased this tip wich is around 1.5cm wide and 2.5cm long approximately. I thought is would be great when I made my bias binding using the Clover bias binder maker. The iron is very clumsy and keeps falling over, also it does not seem to get hot enough to press the creases. I hardly use it, just wasted my money.

What is the difference between the basic and the 2020 version?

Will this work to put on patches for denim jeans?

I don’t see why the mini iron wouldn’t work on patches. I would recommend that you check the heat setting on the patch to make sure our iron gets hot enough to make it adhere.

How big is the shank? Like the part that fits into the iron? 1/4? Trying to see if it would fot into my wood burner

It is about 1/4 inch but is round, of course.
