Question 1

Is this the reformulated or old version?

Accepted Answer

Matcha Hydrating Foam Cleanser has had the same ingredients ever since it was first produced.
⠀
We often receive inquiries about changes to ingredients after customers have looked at the list of ingredients as there are different standards for the U.S. and Europe.
Matcha Hydrating Foam Cleanser sold in the U.S. and Europe contains the same ingredients and quantity. The only difference is the notation standards.
⠀
For example, “green tea extract” is how the ingredient is listed in the U.S., but the list of ingredients must include all of the substances that make up green tea extract when sold in Europe.
⠀
⠀
U.S. Ingredient List: Camellia sinensis leaf extract.
European Ingredient List: Water, green tea, alcohol, preservatives, etc. (All of the substances that make up camellia sinensis leaf extract.)
(*This is just an example. It does not mean the product includes this ingredient.)
⠀
As an additional example, cosmetic products that are sold in Europe cannot be advertised as containing “100% ## extract.” This is because European standards require companies to list all of the substances included in each ingredient instead of just the ingredient itself.
⠀
⠀
Please note that ingredients must be listed according to stricter standards for products that are sold in Europe.
⠀
We at B_LAB, strictly adhere to the procedures in accordance with the cosmetic laws of each country. We will work to find an easier way to guide our customers in the future to eliminate this confusion.
⠀
Thank you.
