Brilliant functioning lights, can go super bright and also as dull as you want for any type of ambience you want. Lights can go from Northern lights style all the way to a Marilyn Monroe photo, absolutely crazy! Maybe still a bit expensive but I brought 2 sets when they were on offer but they are great lights. I also brought the music sensor and it flawlessly worked with that and would blink along with whatever sounds it was picking up! So fun and will be magical to get on the tree this year.

They work perfectly and fit my Christmas tree, they connected and linked with the app very quickly and was easy to set up they are bright and can be adjusted and customised through the app. They are very high quality and look amazing on the tree.

I have been wanting to get these lights for the past few years and finally got the right price, they are expensive but they look so good on the tree. Being able to set the timer is perfect the colours are vibrant and the downloadable patterns look really good. The app is easy to set up and use.

Not a great start with these as the first set I ordered arrived with a 'Type F' (two pin Germany) power supply rather than a 'Type G' (three pin UK) power supply. Amazon soon put that right the following day. I got them out to test them still (coiled in their wrapping bands) and they worked perfectly. They joined my bluetooth on my phone and subsequently joined my WiFi network and even sync'd to audio via the Twinkly music dongle I purchased at the same time. They're nice and bright and really can do all the colours except... any form of "warm white" (they all have a strong hint of another colour in them). And that's when it dawned on me... when I don't want my Christmas tree to be a "night club", can I just have a nice, simple static warm white...? And the answer is... spend the extra and go for the RGB+W version. So I have and returned these. They were great. Easy to set up and worked flawlessly (I know I didn't actually set them up on a tree but even in their wrapped state, you can tell these are fabulous). But for absolute versatility, RGB+W. They do it all.

Easily the worst set of lights I've ever tried. Hideously expensive too for what they are. Firstly mine were faulty - lights set to a static colour were randomly flickering. Secondly, the colour shades were sometimes wrong - some yellows had an orange tint for example. On top of that, the app is a pain to use and it's difficult to find settings as you need them. You can spend a stupid amount of time moving from setting to setting trying to find what you're after. Other than the above, the smartphone app requires information that I don't wish to give - why does it need my location for example? Why do I even need to login in the first place? Why does the app NEED Internet access every time I use it??? I also don't like the overall colour of the lights - irrespective of what they are set to, the glare is harsh and 'unnatural'. It literally hurts my eyes, even on a low brightness setting. Extremely unimpressed and disappointed with these lights which some people rate so highly. I had really been looking forward to buying these but my disappointment is almost immeasurable. A complete waste of money, or it would be if I wasn't able to get a refund from Amazon.

These are the best Christmas lights I’ve ever had ! These are quite expensive but worth every penny in my view . After a little trouble setting them up , I got to connecting to Wi-Fi network phase and the app just stalled , this happened a couple of times ! I did a factory reset by holding down the button on the control box while plugging the lights into the mains socket , this sorted the issue , also there were a couple of lights which were a different colour to the rest on first setup but the factory reset sorted this problem too . Even with these issues the lights were setup in under 20 minutes, I will definitely buy another set next year to add to the twinkly family in my home
