Aprilaire 10 Water Panel 4 Pack for Humidifier Models 110, 220, 500, 550, 558

I used to buy water panels from a supplier that made my humidifier. The only difference between the ones on Amazon and my supplier is that the supplier ones have a plastic case that encloses the panel and directs the water over the panel and then to the drain. The plastic case easily disassembles and then I remove the old water panel and pop in a new one. The plastic cases are reasonably robust and so far I have used the same case over four times without any issues. Saved me $60 over the last three years.

Product was good fit and simple installation to do. Remove the cover, disconnect the water feed line, remove the top of the unit, remove the water panel. Install the new one and reverse for installation.I noticed that there were some light flakes on the aluminum. Also, I noticed that the top part had orange soray paint on the part that always get wet where the water feeds in. This was not the case on the new version I bout, so I believe these are recycled water panels.

It's the best deal that I could find for this filters.I've been using these for 2 years in my whole house humidifier and they've been great. We have really hard water so we need to soak them in vinegar every now and then and they come out like new.They are very easy to install, open the humidifier, slide the old one out, insert the new one and close the humidifier. I replace it in fall and use the humidifier until early spring. At the half way point I soak it in vinegar.The 4 pack makes it convenient to not have to remember to order new ones come Fall and you can't go wrong with OEM.

The product was nicely packed in a box of 4. The installation is really easy with no tool needed. It comes with instruction how to load the panel into the humidifier. The panel fits my Aprilaire 500 as described.

These are OEM water panels and fit my Aprilaire 550 perfectly.I highly recommend using these panels to restore your humidifier's efficiency.
