I honestly didn't think these would work out as well as they have, but they've become an essential little adapter for my daily needs! I have a lot of external SSD drives that require a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect to one of my PC's USB ports. Since I have a desktop USB hub tucked behind my monitor mount, a cable, no matter how short in length, takes up too much space and makes it difficult to connect my SSDs. These little adapters allow me to connect the SSDs (or other devices for that matter) to my PC's USB port without the need for a cable. And they do so in a very secure and stable fashion, which I didn't expect. They're able to support the weight of my SSDs even when plugged in vertically, meaning the SSD is plugged in vertically. No wobble, no connection issues, just high speed USB 3.0 data transfer as though I were using a space consuming cable. I need like a bucket of these in my life - AMAZEBALLS. Fact.

One of mine failed after only 2 months of use.
I figured these will be less likely to fail than a cable, but I am proven wrong. Will order from a different brand
