There when you want them to be - gone when you're done.
We use these all the time and are happy with them. They stick well, are easy to write on, and we don't worry about marking up our containers when we have these labels. They peel off easily - my wife's preferred removal method; they dissolve in water in the sink - my preferred method; and/or, they vanish in the dishwasher if we just toss the lids in without thinking much about it. Great product.
