Cobra the Animation

This is an entertaining action-adventure series straight out of the late 1960s and early 1970s, with abundant cheesecake scenes of beautiful women who wear skimpy swimsuits as WORK UNIFORMS and as street clothes. If you enjoy such scenes, then buy the discs and enjoy; if you don't, then don't buy the discs, because you'll find offense.

Came actually EARLIER than promised and I would buy from sellers again in the future.

OVA's were good. Series was even better. Looks excellent. Not as beautiful as the original

When I saw they finally released the original Cobra tv series on blu ray, I ordered it right away. Saw they had The Animation as well and said “why not”. I only ever saw clips of The Animation but the animation (for The Animation) itself seemed pretty solid. Wasn’t disappointed, but wasn’t blown away either. The OVAs were definitely better than the short series. In fact, I would take away 2 stars just because Lady barely had five minutes of screen time in the whole series. Thankfully, one of the OVAs was pretty much her origin.Not a waste of money for Cobra fans and a better than average continuation of the original tv series. I would recommend, but not highly. Especially if you’ve never seen the original series, definitely get that first if you’re a fan of 80’s anime and art style.
