Huge Money Saver – No Need to Run New Controller Lines!
I installed the Rain Bird ESP-BAT-BT6 after a contractor quoted me $10 per foot to run a new sprinkler controller line—absolutely crazy. Instead, I picked this up along with five Rain Bird DC solenoids and it worked perfectly, saving me hundreds of dollars. If you have direct access to your valves, this controller is a no-brainer. The Bluetooth app is straightforward, and I’ve had no connectivity issues. It’s been running 3 to 6 hours a week, and the batteries are still going strong months later. Whether you’ve cut your controller line or just want to avoid digging trenches, this system is a smart, budget-friendly solution.
