Intex 10ft X 30in Prism Frame Pool Set with Filter Pump

I was able to set this pool up with a little help from my wife in about 1 1/2 hrs. the instructions are pretty straight forward. It is well designed and the parts are sturdier than I was expecting. The only thing I would add, is that you should be very careful to straighten the liner out so that it is equidistant from the vertical supports. It is difficult to do after there is about 3" in the pool. Just an FYI... We have had the pool up for about a week and with 4 rambunctious grand kids REALLY enjoying it for a few days in a row, it is no worse for wear. The filter does seem a little small for the size of the pool, but so far it appears to be keeping up. The long cord on the filter is nice. The only real criticism I have is that the plastic clamps leave a little to be desired. One of the kids (the curious 5yr old) pulled the strainer out of the hose assembly on the side of the pool. No harm done, the hose stayed in place and no water lost. but I would like the clamps to be a little more substantial. Overall a great pool for the price.

Perfect pool for small kids that are too big for blow-up. My 2yo can stand up with head easily above water, but deep enough for my 5yo to actually swim. I'm 5'11" and can sit on the bottom with the water at my shoulders. I had 5 kids age 2-8 in it today and all had enough space to have fun and play safely. Very happy with our purchase. It's not built to last forever, but if you take care of it I can see it easily lasting 3-5 years. For around $100, you can't beat that. I upgraded my pump and added a salt water chlorinator, and it's super easy to take care of now, but if you want to do regular chlorine I doubt it would be too hard to manage with the small volume. It's only 1400 gallons. My family of 4 with kids age 2 and 5, its a perfect fit for us.

Just recieved this and have been using for 2 days so far and we are loving it. It took my husband approx 1 hr to set it up with the help of a 6yo and 3 yo. We are first time "poolers" with 2 kids who do not know how to swim so this is perfect since they can both stand in it. We also arent ready to give up our yard and swing set for a big pool. The size is perfect for little ones. If a grown up goes in dont really plan to "swim" in it. You'll feel like an orca in sea world. I would have given 5 stars but one of the filter hoses came with a pin hole in it which water sprays out of. We upgraded the filter which came with hoses so Im just swapping them. But that would have been a pain if i had to return it and wait for a new one. We also purchased this since I wanted to do a salt water pool and intex has the upgrades. Happy customer so far!

UPDATE - the pool ripped apart at the central seam on its 6th season in use. Not bad for a pool, so we bought a second one without the pump this time since the pump still works. Bought this before the COVID lockdowns. Glad I did because it gave us something to do in the heat when you couldn't go anywhere! Placed it on a porch with padding underneath. Its lasted all this time, taking it down each year and putting it up again the next Memorial Day weekend. We just put it up for the 2025 season. Love that its deep enough to sit it in and have it go up to your neck. Its 10' across so you can lay out and float... but if you stand up no chance of drowning for my family - they are all tall enough to just stand up for safety. We always put a locking gate around it, got a cover for the top, bought the more expensive filter pump, we chlorinate the pool and check its levels regularly to maintain it, vacuum the floor with the pool filter, and use a huge watermelon round floater to hold the cover up out of the water. This year we need to replace some rubber rings just as you would need to maintain anything else. I am not sure if the pool will last another season though, its a number of years old now and the foam padding has even deteriorated, so we might need to replace it next year. Overall, it was a good buy for us and many years of use form May through October. Now, our family tends to be very, very gentle on pools and the foam cushion underneath has kept it from damage to the floor. I am surprised how much inflation has affected the price tag over the years, but its still a relatively affordable solution given it lasted so long for our family.

This pool is awesome for my 3-year old and us to play in. A few things that should be added on: Bigger Pump - I went with the intex 750GPM unit. It takes the same size hoses as the pool and flows alot more water. Timer - The pool needs to cycle daily to keep the water clear, I use an automatic outdoor timer to run it a few hours throughout the day. Intex vacuum / skimmer kit - this kit is awesome and allows you to keep your pool clean. Solar Cover - makes / keeps the pool warm. Works great at my house where we are in the 70s every day and the pool is around 80

I LOVE my new pool! It's a wonderful size for my yard and for just cooling off at the end of the day. My dogs are learning to enjoy it too:) It was super easy to set up. I'm closer to 60 than 50 and it took me about an hour by myself. I watched the video and would pause it and go do the next step etc. I am so happy with this purchase! Thank you! UPDATE: I've had my pool a month over two years now and it is still THE BEST!!! My poles are getting rusty at the joints where they connect to each other but it is still holding up superbly! My dogs and I get in and enjoy it so much here in Florida just about year around, tho we use it more in summer. I am on my third 1000gph pump tho. They're not lasting but a few months. Just ordered another one. Only 30 day warranty on them, but the pool is above expectations!!!

I just set up the pool and it is leaking very little out of one side at the bottom but I can't see the hole. Not sure if I should empty all the water and return it. I'm dissapointed. I've read other reviews and no leaks and here I am never have swam in it yet and leaking.
