Fun for rock painting
In this small 5.5x3.25x4” box arrived 20 charcoal rocks. 7 are 2” wide, 10 are about 2.25” wide, 1 is 2.5” wide, 1 is 2.75” wide, 1 is 2 14/16” wide. None are 3 inches. The box says 2-2.7” sizes. Amazon’s listing price says 2-3 inches. They are about 3/8” deep. They are smooth, no cracks or chips. They will be fun to paint in honor of my son. Bigger rocks are always better but these will do. It is much cheaper to run to a home improvement store to buy rocks but it’s not always possible.

Got these as a gift for a friend who does rock painting. She loved them and painted them all.

They work very well for rock painting
I lead rock painting workshops and these are the perfect size for that. I use acrylic paint pens and finish them with spray sealant. Attendees are always impressed at how the color comes through after sealing these. If I buy larger rock it gets too heavy to lug them around, along with the paint pens and spray sealant. So these are purfect for me.
