This will put you at ease after installing because when you walk up or down your stairs, you know that you are not going to slip and fall, even when it is pouring rain outside, your feet will still be firmly planted on the stairs. For those of you who have already experienced a fall going up or down your stairs ( it happened to me.) You know that the injury you obtained can last for months. Not good! Tip: when you peel back the cover to the adhesive side, pull back about 12in. and fold firmly against the backing of the rest of the backing cover so that it does not interfere with your placement at the end you place down on your stairs. You have to be service because once you lay this down, it will adhere like contact cement! There is no lifting it up for moving it to a different spot. It is stuck. You will ruin it if you need to remove and relocate it so make sure it is where you want it when you lay it down. That is why I suggest peeling back 12in. First. After pressing it down in place, I myself would take hold of the opposite end, keep it up away from contacting anything, peel the rest of the protection film off and then keep it taught and in line to where it needs to be, gently lay it down keeping wrinkles or kinks from forming, then lay it in place. You can press down on it after that. Now you are done. Repeat for every stairway. I hope this information helps you out. Thank you.

The grip is outstanding. Just make sure the surface on which it is stuck on is absolutely clean
