Antoinette Matlins definitely knows how to explain in detail on Gemstones and the tools for identification. If you read one of her many published books, you will see that she can and will teach you everything on the subject the book was written for. Whether it be buying, selling, Gem ID, Tools you need and details on using the Tool/Tools, and accurate specifications on Density, Refractive Index, Spectroscopic details, single/Double refractive, I could go on with the brillant information included in this authors book. I have most of her books in my physical library on multiple subjects. The best in my opinion is the serires of: "Gem Identification made Easy" A hands on guide to more confident Buying and Selling. This was a collaboration between Antoinette Matlins, P.G. and A.C. Bonanno, F.G.A. ,A.S.A., M.G.A.. c.f. Recommended for the beginner to the Advanced Gemologist and Gemstone Hobbiest. We all need to have the skills needed for Gemstone Identification.
