The Thomas & Friends Motorized Toy Train Set Crystal is a fantastic toy and definitely worth it. The quality is great, and the train runs smoothly on the track. The design is colourful and engaging, which makes it really fun for kids to play with. My son absolutely loves it and plays with it every day. It keeps him entertained for hours and has quickly become one of his favourite toys. Overall, a great purchase for any Thomas & Friends fan!

My son absolutely LOVES this. It comes in a pretty big box but once you see how much is inside the box, you can understand why the box is so big. Installing it requires a Phillips screwdrivers. I also found in my set that an extra screw was included for spares, just incase. Most of the parts just push/clip in. The instructions are extremely easy to follow and my son enjoyed helping me build it. I personally found assembly time took around 20 minutes. It wasn’t difficult at all. I love how the train turntable at the bottom of the tower has connections for Thomas & Friends tracks from other sets so, I can connect my other tracks to this tower. In total, you have 4 extra connections (one is at the back and 3 are at the front of the turntable). The motorised Thomas included has absolutely no issues climbing the steep tracks and other motorised Thomas & Friends trains that have tested can also go up the steep tracks as well. The non motorised train included can go all the way from the top of the tower to the bottom in one continuous motion so, lots of speed a fun!! I love how the top of the tower is designed to encourage children to learn how motion works and how levers operate. I will be very honest though… I bought this tower more for fun than learning. A bag of stickers is included to sticker up the tower but, I am waiting for my son to go sleep first so they go on the tower and not his forehead or the wall. No batteries were included for the motorised train. For the size and quality, I think I have certainly got brilliant value for money with this tower set. All the plastic feels like good quality strong plastic so I’m hoping that this tower will last for a long time. It also is very sturdy even with a child leaning in places I keep telling them not to. Very impressed. Extremely pleased with this purchase and my son is one very happy chappy.

This is a great set because the bridge swings as the train goes over. The train can take 2 routes. The set has a splitter under the bridge so that you can connect to other sets. we have three connected together and my grandsons have loads of fun with them. When I purchased it the set was on offer making it surprisingly good value.

Bought for my 3 yr old's b'day, played with non stop for 2 months but then lost some interest. The main downside is that it is so big and there's no ability to fold it down or take it apart for easy storage. I think if I could put it out of sight for a short time, it would come back into play but it is too big to fit through our wide loft hatch. That said, he still does play with it and link track up (which is sold separately.) My son also has fun dropping a variety of objects down the 2 tower chutes. I also have fun truing to ge the stuck things out! It's good that this can be played with standing and sitting, and more than 1 child can play with it simultaneously. My son was a bit disappointed that the bridge is attached to cranky, rather than cranky having a working crane grabber. Easy enough to assemble, was around half an hour. Only put one piece in wrong, easy enough to undo at that stage but not sure how easy it would be to dismantle the whole thing.

Fantastic quality product that has given our grandson and granddaughter hours of immersive fun. Well built and thought out, product is colourful and vibrant, easy to pit together and fun for all ages.
