One final thing... this amazing unit also comes with a Full THREE YEARS Manufactures Warranty. Sometimes you buy something that offers so much for so little money and you usually get what you've paid for. Not in this case I can assure you, because your getting much more for your money. I purchased this Black Ash colour unit for my bedroom and have just bought another one in Oak colour for our kitchen (you can also get this in a Walnut colour).

First one i ordered broke after 2 days of use, contacted them and once i sent faulty product back they sent a replacement, still working 8 months later.

I bought this to replace my old FM Radio/CD player as I wanted the new DAB+ channels. The unit is solidly built and automatically tunes all the available radio channels. I was surprised that I can even get Boom Radio which I'm not supposed to be able to receive in my area. The sound is nice and crisp and the dimmable LCD display is a nice feature. The achillies heel of this radio is the remote control. For some reason you cannot add pre-set radio channels using the remote, something that is not entirely made clear in the instructions. I contacted the manufacturers support via email who took 3 days to reply and then confirmed that you have to use the buttons on the unit in order to save your favourite channels. Also, the remote sensor on the unit has a very narrow field to pick up the remote control instructions, so I often find I'm waving the remote around waiting for the unit to get the signal. There is also an annoying 0.5 second time lag for the unit to change channels. In summary a nice radio/cd player let down by it's remote control. If not for this, I would have given it 5 stars.

Easy to set up, sound is pretty good. But display is very dim, even at highest setting.

Sound quality: Far better than I anticipated, brilliant for the compact size, loud with bass & crystal clear audio. Build quality: Excellent Looks: I got the black wooden surround with silver front, looks really classy Functionality: Extremely versatile, everything you need really. PS: I bought a second one with an oak finish for my 93 year old mum, she can use it, because everything is so easy. She loves it too.
