Why is this hat $24 bucks when you can get it right from ariat for $20?

I can not answer that question. We are required to sell at the price Ariat calls their "imap" price. If we sell for less, they can cancel our account and actually stop selling to store to resale. I will bring it to their attention because it is not fair, in my opinion, for them to sell wholesale to stores, then turn around as sell direct to customers for the same retail prices. This means they are in direct competition with who did all the work to make their brand so successful. They end up making twice the profit than their stores. Again, that is my opinion. Another reason we can't lower the price is that we have to pay Amazon a commission, in our case 20% of each sale. So the $24.00 cap to Amazon is $24.00. They in turn only pay us $19.20. Is the mesh a softer fabric type mesh or the stiffer mesh like the classic trucker's cap?

Its medium. It got soft since i wear it all the time.

The Ariat cap is very nice in terms of quality the material feels aunthentic,and the logo is exactly as I expected.The finishing details are very well done, the stitching is strong, and it's clear that it's a durable and well made product. It is also confortable and fits very wel, I am very satisfied with the purchase, specially for the price, whinch i find quite affordable. I would definitely recommend it and would buy it again without hesitation.

I must have a big head. Most baseball caps don’t fit me properly, they are just a bit too tight no matter how I adjust them. Recently I saw a man who was a lot bigger than me wearing an ARIAT hat. I thought, if it fits him it will fit me too, & immediately did an online search. Amazon actually sell these cheaper than the ARIAT online shop, so I promptly ordered one and waited a week for it to come from the US. Definitely worth the wait. The hat is well made, very adjustable and just as with the huge fella I saw, actually fits me. I’m off to order another one in a different colour.
