Gold standard for volume!
I LOVE THIS STUFF! I previously used Olaplex dry shampoo, which works a dream, doesn't leave any white cast at all, and left me feeling very clean and fresh (more than any other dry shampoo I've ever used, including this one). So if your hair is thick and full and you don't need a volume boost, I highly recommend that. However my hair is absurd levels of fine and thin, like, we're talking glorified peach fuzz, newborn baby levels of fine hair. I need a volume boost like a fish needs water. And holy cow, does this stuff boost volume. It makes my hair look like a normal person's hair, instead of a thin veil atop my skull like it usually does! My only complaint is that it does leave a white cast, so you really gotta work it in there. It's also pretty expensive, I got the small can which only lasted a couple of weeks. That's not great. But the product is so good I went ahead and bought the full size, and I'll keep the small one aside for when I travel. TL;DR: If you are a fine, limp-haired girlie like me, rejoice! This is the one. But if you have full, thick hair that doesn't need volumizer, go with olaplex dry shampoo, I guarantee you will love it.

Fragrance
I have ordered this several times in the past and love the smell when I sprayed it on my hair. This time it has a different fragrance and I donโt like it as well. I probably wonโt order it again I would like to know why it changed.

Amazing product until ruined by ingredient change
I have used Oribe Gold Lust for years. It's expensive and a splurge but it was the best dry shampoo on the market. It made your hair looked freshly washed even if it had been days! Then, they added Chamomile (Matricaria)... a common skin allergin... and completely RUINED it. Several years ago, I learned I was allergic to chamomile. When I use products with it I develop severe eczema on my scalp. I've been using the Gold Lust dry shampoo for years and was happy to confirm, at the time, that it didn't have chamomile. I've been using it almost daily since. Then in March, shortly after starting a new bottle, I started getting eczema again. I couldn't figure out the cause as I hadn't changed any hair products. Finally, it got bad enough that I checked the ingredients again only to learn that they have added chamomile to the dry shampoo without warning and have given me an allergic reaction for the past 6 months. Chamomile is part of a compositae mix that is commonly known to cause allergic skin reactions. In fact, it's a common patch allergists use when performing allergy tests. So, why was the decision made to destroy this amazing product with chamomile with no notification or warning listed for your customers? This product is completely ruined and I will never be able to use it again.

Its alright.
For the price point i was hoping for more. The scent is nice but ive smelled better. I do appreciate that this one compared to others doesnt cause as much skin / scalp irritation. It also doesnt leave a greasy residue feeling like some others. But I wish it was somewhat more absorbent.

I think it must be magic
I have very fine and thin hair. I know, right? How lucky can one girl get? To top it off, as I get older, it's getting thinner, so yay! (Ok, not really "yay".) I first heard about Oribe dry shampoo in a Buzzfeed review of several dry shampoos. Each reviewer said Oribe was amazing, but so expensive that they would stick with the much cheaper Batiste. And then at the end of the article, they confessed that they loved Oribe so much they actually did go and buy it. That's a pretty awesome recommendation. Plus, they each mentioned how the dry shampoo gave their hair more umph. I need umph. Everyone talks about how great it smells, but smell is so individual that I know just because other people love the smell doesn't mean that I necessarily will. So I started out by buying the purse size one. It was cheaper and I wouldn't cry as many bitter tears if I didn't like it.I got it and used it. I didn't have any experience with dry shampoo before this, but it seemed to do what I needed. I could see some umph difference, but I figured it was one of those things where I'm the only one that can see the difference. (Oh, and I did like the smell. I saw a review that said it smells like Dulce and Gabanna Light Blue, which doesn't help me at all, because I've never smelled that, but it may help you :) I used it this morning as my husband and I went out for breakfast and chores. As we were heading into the restaurant he said, "Wow, you look amazing. I mean, you always look great, but there's something else today." I smiled and said, "It's a secret." The fact that my husband saw the difference was enough for me. I came home today to post this review and buy several other Oribe products. (Gulp.) I hope that your loved ones will see the same difference that my husband did.

Sheโs pricey, but worth it. Keeps my hair soft and fresh better than any other Iโve tried.
Pricey but is the best dry shampoo for me. Smells amazing, does not dry my hair out like other spray and powder dry shampoos do. I feel like it also keeps my hair soft, other ones can make it feel really dry/crunchy, but not this one. Sheโs expensive, but worth it to me, I havenโt found one that does the same thing yet

Didnโt work for me
Meh. Iโm in my mid 40s and have never colored my hair: my stylists always call it โvirginโ hair. I say this as a white woman with fine, thick hair that needs daily washing due to oil. Was psyched to try this since I love & live by the Oribe thickening line. First, I missed that my $23 purchase was for a travel size that lasted 2 1/2 uses. My mistake. But (and 2nd)...for being home through Covid 19 it let me skip 2 showers and experiment since Zoom meetings are nuts anyway. For office, in person work? Never ever would work for me.

Don't waste your money
This dry shampoo did not smell nice to me personally. It also did not seem to make my hair seem less greasy like the other cheaper dry shampoos do. I was also shocked by the size. I'm not sure why I didn't realize it is basically a "trial" size bottle and at almost $40.00 it is just not worth the money. Again, save yourself the money.

love this stuff, love the smell
smells great and works , no powdery residue, a little goes a long way wish the larger 6 oz was available as it is a better value, minus 1 star as this is a small can
