Bought the 1st pair of these Thunderbolt Platinum Pro Knee Pads maybe 4-5 years ago (at a big box store) as a gift for my husband, to replace the worn out pair of “soft front” knee pads he was using while renovating our house. He absolutely loved them. He said that they had much better and thicker cushioning (gel + foam) and that the silicone front pads provided much more support and protection to his knees than the old soft knee pads he was using. The wide vecro straps stay secure, and are well above and below your knee so they don’t roll up or bunch up directly behind your knee. Now, he wears them all the time - anytime he puts his work boots on to work on a project around the house, he puts his Thunderbolt Knee pads on. In fact, he has worn the velcro straps out from wearing them so many times! We went back to the big box store to purchase a new/replacement pair. Unfortunately, the store no longer carried the Thunderbolt brand knee pads and only stocked “their own brand”. He tried on several similar knee pads while at the store and couldn’t find anything he liked as much or were as comfortable as the Thunderbolt Knee Pads. He asked me to “please find my Thunderbolt Knee pads online and buy them for me.” So here I am, writing this review. Can’t think of a better endorsement than my husband’s. Thunderbolt Platinum Pro Knee Pads are extremely comfortable, easy to wear, and are definitely durable. Well worth getting yourself a pair (your knees will thank me ;-)

Let me just say — these Thunderbolt knee pads are the Cadillac of knee protection. I’ve worn more uncomfortable knee pads than I care to admit (some of them felt like medieval torture devices), but these? These are luxury for your kneecaps. The straps are wide enough to make yoga pants jealous — no more red marks or that “I’ve-been-kneeling-for-12-hours” sting on the back of my legs. And the best part? The cup actually stays put! No more sliding down mid-project and forcing me into some awkward dance to readjust. I wore them all day — crawling, kneeling, squatting, contemplating life choices — and I forgot they were even on. Honestly, if Thunderbolt made shoes this comfortable, I’d be unstoppable. Would I recommend them? Absolutely. Your knees deserve a treat. 👏

These knee pads are amazing for my job at the airport. Because I have to go in the cargo pit , the pads I was given didn’t have much padding. But these keep my knees comfortable and supported with the gel. If I need to slide around in there they come in handy for that. They don’t have much adjustment but that’s probably because these are made for men, and I am on the smaller size. Sturdy and the plastics in the front is dubrale

Comfortable and durable. Easy fit and extensions are added. My first time wearing them I was working on concrete. Didn't feel a thing. I'll see how long they last. My last ones held up close to 9 years

These are the best knee pads I've owned. They are extremely well cushioned and comfortable when I'm on my knees. I haven't had a problem so far with them sliding down and they are very easy and quick to put on and take off. Comfortable to walk or sit around in too. I ordered the Sellstrom Ultra-flex 3 hard shell pads at the same time and kept these. The Sellstrom were really good too but went with these because the padding was better and they are easier to get on/off.

Was kind of hesitant to buy these because they changed the top strap to Velcro instead of a buckle but after wearing them for about a week I have to say that I am pretty happy with them. The Velcro straps don’t last as long as buckles because they lose their “stickiness” after some time but I guess we’ll see. The gel pads are comfortable, and protective. The elastic Velcro straps are comfortable , and they include strap extensions in case the strap isn’t long enough for your thighs. All in all, I am very pleased with these and will buy another pair when I need to.

These kneepads work really well, they have been extremely helpful in with multiple home renovation projects I have done since I bought them, would absolutely recommend.

Ich habe die Thunderbolt Knieschoner bei einem größeren Projekt im Einsatz gehabt und damit eine ca. 30 Quadratmeter große Holzterrasse gebaut. Über viele Stunden kniender Arbeit haben mich die Knieschoner absolut überzeugt. Sie sind sehr angenehm zu tragen, drücken nicht und sitzen stabil, ohne zu verrutschen. Gleichzeitig bieten sie einen wirklich effektiven Schutz für die Knie, selbst auf hartem Untergrund wie Holz oder Beton. Auch nach längerer Nutzung hatte ich keine Schmerzen oder Druckstellen – ein großer Pluspunkt. Die Verarbeitung wirkt robust und hochwertig, sodass man das Gefühl hat, ein langlebiges Produkt zu verwenden. Gerade bei Arbeiten, bei denen man viel auf den Knien ist – sei es beim Heimwerken, Renovieren oder auf der Baustelle – sind diese Knieschoner eine enorme Erleichterung. Fazit: Wer regelmäßig kniend arbeitet, sollte in gute Knieschoner investieren. Die Thunderbolt Knieschoner von Thunderbolt sind dafür wirklich zu empfehlen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Confortables et très protectrices. Efficaces

Die Knieschoner sind echt klasse. Angenehm an die Knie, kein Kneifen oder verrutschen. Mit dem Klettverschluss lässt es sich echt perfekt an das Bein anpassen und hat sogar noch ein Extra Zwischenstück, wenn der Kletterverschluss, der an den Knieschonern dran ist, nicht ausreicht. Sie sind dazu noch sehr leicht. Für den Preis ist es echt gut investiertes Geld!

Die Knieschoner halten was sie versprechen. Sehr angenehm zu tragen. Verrutschen nicht.
