Love this product. I waited a 9 months before I gave my review and it's excellent. I have a cat and sheds a lot of hair, this product made my life much easier. I sweep once a week and use my swifter to remove any hair along the edges of the wall for the vacuum to pick up, I do this weekly. The vacuum can't reach places where furniture is in place but it does its job, as far as cleaning the entire open area. Also this vacuum doesn't get stuck as other reviews I've read on other products. It recognizes the objects and works around object including the cat lol....if you have a large area the vacuum will return to the base to recharge itself. Once the vacuum recharges itself it will resume where it last left off. Love it. This product isn't a large vacuum, but it will pick up everything in sight make sure not to leave large pieces of paper, strings or small objects on the floor it will get stuck into the vacuum if you want this product to last. Also, this vacuum goes over area rugs including items that are on the same level, make sure to remove certain items off the floor or you can command the vac not to go thru certain areas. You can also schedule clean up time. This product is worth buying. I'm going to purchase another one for my second floor.

This is our first robot vacuum with Shark and we are very pleased. Our other robot vacuum “Rusty” lasted us a year and he was great. We wanted to find something similar. Our vacuum “Rosie” goes through a mapping session during her startup. After that session, she knows exactly where to go in your house to make a very efficient clean. You can set her on a timer and control everything from the app. You can even send her to certain rooms that are messy and not have her do the whole floor. I have recommended her to some friends. Suction is great and my carpets feel clean when she leaves. Easy to empty all the dust and trash. Huge time saver! She is a smart little vacuum!

The vacuum is OK. Great suction. BUT the app is terrible. It won't start mapping, I can't select rooms, I can't spot clean, I can't schedule cleaning. Useless. Don't bother calling customer support either. Sat on hold for 45 minutes to be told to restart everything (which I had done already but did again) and then it was blamed on my internet connection (which worked just fine for other knock-off robot vacuums). Also, battery life runs for about 50 minutes then has to recharge. Unbelievable on terrible this name brand unit is compared to some knock offs.

Ive had this model on our second floor and a similar model on thw first for about 3 months. They operate the same. Overall, I like this product. The programming is not overwhelming but some people who are not "tech savvy" will struggle with it. It does a better than average job of efficiency vacuuming all areas of a floor. The downsides are: -our upstairs unit could not recognize the stairs and stop itself. It crashed several times until I had to go in the app and set a boundary for it not to cross -if you change your wifi password, there isn't an option in the app to quickly do it and it's a pain to get it working correctly again -biggest gripe is emptying the dust bin. Whatever engineer designed it needs fired. You have to work against yourself to hit the button and open it. By far the biggest flaw of the unit

Love our robot vacuum, Scooter! He is so easy to use! The home mapping feature is great, you can set “no go” zones which are areas you do not want your vacuum to go. It detects the top of the stairs (although during the first mapping of our house, I did stand at the top of the stairs just to be sure Scooter wouldn’t fall down them, it’s like being a new mom all over again!) and transitions from hardwood floors to carpet seamlessly. The areas of our home that we use the vacuum equals about 2800 square feet and it takes about 90 minutes or so to vacuum. We have a dog and Scooter picks up the dog hair wonderfully! We do have to empty Scooter after each run due to the dog, with out a pet you may not have to empty as often, but it is so easy so I don’t see why you wouldn’t? We usually wait until the weekend to run Scooter since we do have a dog and don’t want an actual mess in case the dog has an accident in the house. Scooter is really quiet and have 100% earned his place in our home!

I love my shark vacuum. It was working great until the first week of December when it suddently stopped connecting to the phone app. The vacuum still does a great job, but I can no longer set parameters, spot clean, or take advantage of all the really nice features. It still wanders the house and cleans up a LOT of cat hair, so I cannot say that I am unhappy. The Shark connects to the Wi-Fi, my router sees and properly identifies the Shark, but the phone app still says that Shark is disconnected. I have done a factory reset on the Shark, I've reloaded the software, but nothing changes. I cleared everything I could find and re-added the robot as if it were new. All the steps went flawlessly. Everything claimed to have connected successfully, until I go back to the robot to have it map the house, and it claims the Shark is disconnected. Very frustrating. Even in this state, it is better than the iRobot I have in the basement.

highly recommend we have cow dogs that stay in the house at night and this really keeps up with the hair and dirt, along with mud and such from shoes!' i love that you can schedule it! and i can start it from work! my only complaint is i wish it had a reverse setting for when something is stuck in it! only because if something gets stuck in it than it cant complete its job and most of the time cant go back to dock! which creates a fun little game of seek lol!!

I have had robotic vacuums for several years now. I started with generic ones from Amazon which were fine, but died after about 2 years. I even purchased new batteries, but they were done. So I decided to spend the money and get a Rumba, then got a this Shark for our upstairs. The shark is so superior! I have one hairy golden retriever and do dmpty and take care of the vacuums daily. The Shark never gets hair stuck or rolled up around the rollers or at their ends. The rugs and floors always look just vacuumed and I never see missed stuff. The Rumba's rollers always have hair rolled around their ends which causes them to break (they are made of plastic) It also leaves clumps of hair around the house. I have to use my regular vacuum about once a week to pick up what it is leaving behind. I wish I could send the rumba back and get another shark.
