I really like this 5-gallon Scepter gas can. The SmartControl spout makes it much easier to control the flow of gasoline and helps prevent spills. I was worried the spout would be difficult to use because I do not have very strong hands, but I was pleasantly surprised. You do not need a lot of hand strength to operate it once you understand how it works. To use it, remove the cap from your equipment, place the spout or extender into the fuel opening, then press and hold the SmartControl lever/button to release the fuel. Start with light pressure so you can control the flow. When you release the control, the gasoline stops flowing, which makes filling much cleaner and easier. The spout extender is especially helpful for lawn equipment where the fuel opening can be difficult to reach. The rear handle also makes the can easier to hold and position while pouring. Overall, this is a sturdy, easy-to-use gas can with good spill control. I would recommend it, especially if you want something that does not require a lot of hand strength to operate.

Pour gas rapidly with a button instead of unscrewing a cap. Using the best of two handles to get into position, press the green button with your palm to start filling up when ready. Let go of the button when done. It is now closed and no fumes will escape.
