Good book it helps artist to think how creature are made what they eat how they survive in wilderness and many more. Overall it will help artist to think like a god🤣

Ce livre est LE livre à avoir quand on veut créer des concepts de créatures vraisemblables. Ce livre est truffé de conseils et explique ce qu'il faut faire et surtout ce qu'il ne faut pas faire. De l'adaptation à son environnement (désert chaud ou glacial, évolution...) à la fonctionnalité des appendices dont vous dotez votre créature (griffes, fourrure, musculature...) en passant par l'anatomie de plusieurs animaux (primates, poissons, félins, équidés...), il vous dit tout ! La mise en page est claire et facilement lisible.

This book is amazing for people who are interested in creature design and want to take their process to the next level. It focuses a lot on anatomy and functionality, which helps make your designs make more sense and seem more believable. It also contains some general art advice such as balance and contrast as well as some amazing design examples (it also shows the entire process for these examples). It is not necessarily a book for beginners because it does not show you how to draw, but the vast amount of information is definitely worth the price (it’s also printed on some quality stuff)!

This book is packed full of beautiful illustrations and advice, but where it really shines for me is the step-by-step case studies that are presented. Whether you’re a professional, novice or just an interested party, this book has something for everybody. The way it encourages one to think about the anatomy, evolution and habitat of the creatures that are being created.
