LENCENT FM Transmitter in-Car Adapter, Wireless Bluetooth 5.3 Radio Car Kit

This works as advertised. I selected the highest frequency that my car stereo supported. I connected to my phone with Bluetooth, and was able to make calls, and use streaming audio from my phone, while also charging my phone via USB-C. There was no alternator noise as mentioned by some other reviews. It's great for long road trips when you want to listen to podcasts or streaming music while driving. I had to turn the volume up slightly compared to local radio stations, but other than that, it was great. The connection to the cigarette lighter socket feels very solid and secure.

I bought this "Bluetooth FM Transmitter" device to use in my 2005 model car, which has no Bluetooth or AUX input. This device is exactly what I've been needing, and I don't know why I waited so long to get one. Anyway, here are the "pros" and "cons" from my perspective after using it for about a week (every time I get into the car): Pros: (1) No need to mention the things that are in the Amazon description. There is a lot of functionality, and it all works as described, except as in the "Cons", below. (2) Others have mentioned static, but I did not encounter any static. Yes, there is static when the car radio is tuned between stations, but the static is gone as soon as the device begins transmitting at the same frequency. (3) It's best to turn up the volume on the phone, then adjust the volume on the car radio. For me, neither one had to be at a maximum. (4) After initially pairing the device with the phone via bluetooth, it then connects very quickly when the car ignition is turned on. A fairly loud "beep" indicates they are connected. Cons: (1) The documentation is good, except that the font is much too small. I had difficulty reading it, especially the letters that identify the various buttons. (2) The documentation states to turn the knob (with the green phone picture) left or right for "previous" or "next" song. However, the correct procedure is to push the knob left or right. I think I almost broke it by trying to turn it. (3) The FM frequency is shown on the device in a small font that is difficult to read. After getting the device and radio working together, I set one of the car's radio presets to that frequency, so there's no need to bother with it again. (4) The bass is stronger than I like, even without the bass boost. I had to turn down the base on my car radio, but with that adjustment it is fine. OK. That's it. In short, I'm very happy with it, after figuring out some of the quirks. Update: I've had this for several weeks, and it is still working well. I have this one additional "con": It appears that I can pair it with only one phone. After pairing a second phone, I have to go through the pair procedure with the first one again if I want to use the first one again with this device. It's not much trouble, but it would be nice if it could remember multiple phones.

I really love this device. I'm so glad I came across it. It was very easy to set up once you watch all the videos available that shows you how to get started. The volume is excellent and I didn't need to adjust the volume on my cell phone. And I can control the volume with the controls from my steering wheel. Win win!!! Incoming and outgoing calls sound quality is excellent on the speaker and the mic works seamlessly as I can be heard clearly. Once the bluetooth detects a call in or out the music silences immediately. For incoming calls a voice prompt recites the call number. The bluetooth connects automatically to my phone. I don't need to power off my device as my car turns all of its functions off when the engine power is cut so that not even the USB for charging is disabled. I suppose if your car doesn't do this you would have to power off your device. The fast charging port is a legit fast charger. The USB for playing music works well and the memory function remembers the last song played so it's a continuum. I had even taken out my flash drive and put it in another vehicle for a few days and returned to my regular car with bluetooth device and it remembered the last song I'd played before. I was really impressed. My only pet peeve is that when I turn on the engine of the car the USB flashes and then stops flashing and doesn't start playing the music unless I eject and reinsert it. Very annoying. I'd expect it to just start playing automatically but it doesn't. Hence the reason for 4 stars. I also noticed that my phone doesn't have to be connected to the bluetooth for the music to play. I'd initially thought so but realised when I'd forgotten to turn it on. I am really enjoying this device except for the inconvenience of having to reinsert my flash drive everytime. Maybe it's just me I dunno.

This is the only car I have had without Bluetooth, being that it is an older model. Though I have tried many, I have not been able to find a Bluetooth adapter for my car that allows me to listen to music from my iPhone through the car’s radio speakers as is standard nowadays. I was a little skeptical when I bought this, but I could not be more impressed.! The clarity is incredible and it works in spots that are notorious for cutting out on everyone’s cars. It also allows you to make and receive phone calls via Bluetooth. I was so happy to be able to listen to my music again that having this calling feature back made it even better! It’s only been a few days but so far I am SO pleased with this purchase! Thank you!

Works pretty well and the calling feature is really helpful, it stops you from reaching for your phone when on the highway My mom loves it!

Great product for the price. I’d spend more money on a better adapter if I could go back time. Since I can’t this product works nicely so buying a new one is useless. Sounds ok. I’ve had this product about a year now and it still works I’ll rate it an 8.5

Only works on 88.3, we’ve got a strong station but my music is trying. Lots of static. Bluetooth connection is quick. However, it cranks phone ringer volume to MAX. Need to try again with a phone call. Speech to text seems delayed.

2/12/22: This product was delivered in a very timely manner. The package was not damaged at all. It came with an instruction booklet, which is not really needed because set up is so simple. You find a radio station that is not being used, like a fuzzy one. You plug in the Bluetooth transmitter, at first it tells you your battery voltage, then push the CH button on the side and toggle the green phone button until you are at the radio station you previously set. Turn Bluetooth on your phone and connect to BT23 (I'm not sure if this is the same for all) and you are ready to go. My previous transmitter I always had to have the volume way up on my phone and turned up pretty far on my radio just for a medium level volume. I do not have that problem with this one. The sound quality seems good to me, but I have a 04 buick century so not the greatest speakers anyways. I cannot comment on the phone call quality yet as I just hooked it up and did this review. I will try to remember to update when I do. I read some reviews said to unplug it when you get out of your car, I am just going to turn the device off and hope for the best. I'm sure I'll forget to turn it off at some point so I'll update on whether it made my battery die or not. I do recommend this product. 10/17/22: yeah I've left it plugged in almost the entire 8 months I've had it, sometimes with 2 charging cords plugged in, and my battery has never died. Also phone calls weekend pretty well. A couple of my family members complain, but they also complain when I talk to them on speaker so I think it's just them. 2/27/24 I moved this transmitter to my van and bought a very similar $10 one for my car Feb 2023 (I paid about $20 for this product.) The QC3.0 port on the one in my car just quit working this month. This products charging ports get used much more often and so far have held up a year longer. So I am purchasing this one again for my car.
