Love the anatomical pictures!
The drawings of the skeleton with muscles in color were EXTREMELY helpful. I’ve been a pilates instructor fr 5 years; the details in this book will certainly help me be a better instructor.

Excellent for stiff people
Stretching all parts of body. Very well described and illustrated. I wish I’d found this book years ago. Today my Reformer is covered with clothes and this book motivated me to clear it off and start gaining flexibility again.

Dissaponting
It's more like a summary of an introduction to a book. Very basic, very short. There a books out there with more substance for the same price or less. I did not find it useful at all.

It is okay if you are a pilates professional. I think it would be too in depth unless you are a medical or physical therapist professional.

Beautifully illustrated & explained
Beautifully illustrated & explained. This guide would be a wonderful tool, particularly, for those new to teaching Pilates or learning to use the reformer. As a PMA certified instructor, I didn't find any surprising new info but I have found it useful to share with my clients so they can have a deeper understanding of exactly what & where they are stretching.

Great overview of stretching with Pilates reformer and box.
Author addressed all major parts of the body and how to adapt stretches using the reformer and the box on the reformer and off the reformer.

Complete waste of time and super expensive
I am a pilates teacher and bought this book for some ideas for stretching clients on the reformer. The stretches are obvious and basic. You could work them out even if you had not gone through reformer training and all of them would be covered by existing training. There is nothing innovative or interesting in this book and in most cases you wouldn't even need a reformer to do the stretches. Save yourself the money. I would return if I could. If it would let me give this book a 0 rating I would have.

Most of us need more stretching
The funny title gets a few chuckles. But the content is serious--good stretches that most of us would benefit from, using Pilates apparatus to achieve effective stretches.

Le illustrazioni e le istruzioni sono veramente molto chiare e comprensibili, e mostrano come utilizzare la panca da pilates per fare stretching in modo ottimale. Ho messo solo 4 stelle perché il libro, pur comprendendo tutti i principali gruppi muscolari, è di sole 54 pagine. In ogni caso è un ottimo acquisto.

Muy útil y visual. Letra grande. Texto escueto, conciso y más que suficiente para comprender y recordar las claves de cada estiramiento. Sin paja. Dibujos y texto a color: a cada músculo que se estira se le asigna un color, el mismo color que en el texto, de manera que es muy rápido de consultar. Por fin un libro sobre Pilates usa este recurso didáctico. Todo un acierto. Doy clases de Pilates en Reformer y lo encuentro muy útil. Compraré más de esta serie.

Not suitable for kindle
I bought it for use on my kindle. Tried to download it but got message that not compatible. No option for return. Apparently I could use on the pc but that is nowhere near my reformer
