Does this handle the rough treatment during Airport baggage handling?

I would definitely think so. I carried a very heavy load in it on a long train journey,where it experienced rough treatment!! This bag is much tougher than it first appears. Also great for storage at home.

Does it come with a pouch for folding up, whether separate or built-in?

No it does not come with a pouch but very easy to fold up small and put in a carrier bag. I use mine for storing winter bedding! It really is a great bag for travel and storage.

I can't access it at the moment as it the loft but it does fold well and can fold quite small.

what is the weight capacity that it can hold ?

I was able to carry 23kg. Not sure total weight capacity. However, I would not really advise more than the 23kg mark.
