A convenient, reliable, and cost effective alternative to RO systems.
I’ve had this item for several years and it’s still not showing any signs of failure! I originally had a Watts Premier RO system underneath my sink. Between the unreliable John Guest valves constantly leaking and the water tanks constantly failing due to poorly constructed diaphragms, I threw the entire RO system in the garbage. It’s replacement consisted of the FlowJet BW5000-00A water dispenser, a compatible drinking water faucet, and three 5 gallon jugs that I fill at a local water & ice store. I even added a brass T in the water line so that my water dispenser can supply bottled water directly to my refrigerator and ice maker. I no longer have to worry about leaks or filter maintenance. I’ve saved hundreds from not having to replace filters or filtration parts, so this dispenser paid for itself many times over. I’d definitely make this purchase again.

Excellent water pump, highly recommend.
I live in a lake community with only well water, we do not use our tap water to make ice. I installed this with 5 gallon bottles to make ice, next to a cabinet, to the fridge. It works great. The noise level is minimal and we get fresh clean ice. One time, when the bottle ran dry, it started making a noise and stopped working. We loved it so much, we purchased another unit, thinking that over time, it just ran its course and failed. Upon installing the new one, the same thing happened, it was making a noise and not pumping the water. After re-reading the instructions, apparently, there was an air bubble in the tube. I had to remove the tube from the pump that ran from the fridge and run it, the air bubble cleared and it started working fine. Please try this before you order a new one! We now have an extra one, just in case it ever fails. We are very pleased with this product.

SO FAR, Flawless!!!
I have only been using this produce for a couple of months and "SO FAR," it has been working flawlessly. The only question is, how long will it continue to work flawlessly????? If it makes it 3 years, I will be VERY HAPPY!!! IF it makes it one more month, I WILL BE VERY UNHAPPY!!! Only time will tell. I am enjoying bottled water from my fridge ice maker and cold water supply and CAN NOT be happier!!! Like I said, only time will tell how long it works flawlessly!!! Two Months down the road: The pump was working find. It was noisy and pulsated the hose to the ice maker/water supply VERY badly. The PUMP didn't stop working, but the fridge's ICE MAKER DID stop working completely. It slowed down over a period of 5 days then completely stopped working. I had recently switched over to an under sink RO system because our water is so bad. When the ice maker quite working on the pump, I switched over to the RO System and within 48 hours, the ice maker started working again and is still working flawlessly. Make sure you get the accumulator tank with this pump as it is VERY NEEDED!!! Ice makers don't like pulsating water supplies.

Best Solution for Office With No Water Line
I wanted a fridge/freezer for my office space but also wanted one that would make ice. My office has no water line installed, and I was mulling what to do, when I found this Water System. Because I have a water dispensing machine, I regularly receive delivery of 7-gallon jugs of filtered water, and this system works perfectly with those jugs. Although installation was a bit tricky, that was only because I did not initially read through all of the instructions. Once I did, I was able to get the instal done in about 15 minutes, and it has worked flawlessly since that time. I've had it running for about 3 months without any issues whatsoever. So, if you have a home, office, or other space where you want to pump water into a fridge/ice maker but don't have access to a water line, I highly recommend this product. When the fridge draws in water, the pump does make some noise, but not to the extent that it annoys me or my assistant at all. I also don't have to replace a fridge filter (or at least, I won't have to do it very often) because I am already running pure filtered water from Absopure into the freezer.

Great for making ice cubes in the garage fridge
We have a second fridge in the garage mostly for stocking beverages and frozen food. There is no water hook up in the garage to use the ice maker and water spout that the fridge came with, but we are regularly get the 5 gal Poland Spring water bottles delivered to our house. This Flojet pump allows you to use the 5 gal bottles to feed the ice maker and water chiller in our fridge. It is easy to hook up and comes with everything you need. The pump only powers up on demand, i.e. if you use ice cubes and fridge is starting to make more ice. Since it is in the garage, I don't really care about the sound, but I also don't find it overly loud - however, as short as it runs, you definitely will hear the pump working. The other nice thing about this setup is that the ice cubes are made out of spring water, so you don't mind at all having them in your drinks. I filter the tap water that feeds our fridge in the kitchen, but would love to use spring water there, too. Changing water bottles is also easy with the provided tube and bottle cap, that you stick into the 5 gal bottles. The on-demand pump and all the accessories seem to be well made and of higher quality than competing products, however I find the price a little high, which is why I knocked off a star. This system should cost in the $60 to $75 range and not the $120 I paid for it. However, I expect this to work for many years without any maintenance, and the cheaper competing products seem to have issues with reliability.

Not at all noisy
Easy to install. No learning curve in using it. I did not want to crawl under the house to run a water line from the one side of the kitchen to the other and drill up through the floor to the rear of the refrigerator. Instead I put the unit on the wall with the bottle beside it. I ran the 1/4” supply line through the upper back of the cabinets to the rear of the refrigerator. The only fitting you need to assemble is one nut and a sleeve. Everything just plugs in to the pump. Just place the long tube in the 5 gallon bottle and turn on the pump. But, before connecting 1/4” line to the refrigerator put the end in a pail and turn on the pump for several seconds to clear out the lines. Nice thing is when your bottle is down to the last pint it turns off. Just pull out the tube and place it in another bottle and it will turn on automatically in a few minutes. When the pump turns on to fill the ice tray it’s on for maybe 3.5 seconds then shut off. Good thing is you get purified ice and if you ice maker line breaks you only get the water that’s in the bottle on the floor and not running for hours while you are away like you would if you were hooked to city water.

Great for a sink or appliance that requires running water.
This pump system allows me to hook up a 5 gallon water jug to a commercial Keurig coffee brewer at my business. This system consists of a tube that presses down inside the water jug with a float at the bottom that tube connects to the pump unit, the pump unit then connects to the coffee brewer with a quarter inch plastic flexible waterline. This system should work great for an icemaker, water fountain, coffee brewer or anything of the sort. When the units preset pressure is reached and the small quarter inch line the pump turns off, as soon as the coffee maker or whatever device is connected opens its valve the pressure and this line drops and the pump turns on. The pump will turn off again once the pressure in the line reaches the threshold. I have ran hundreds of gallons of water through the system and it has performed flawlessly. The unit has rubber inserts at the mounting points to reduce vibration, it connects to power using a supplied wall adapter. This could be easily converted to run on a battery if necessary. As a final word both of the lines are removable from the pump very easily.

Well made device, easy to install and works as advertised!
We had to replace our garage fridge and ended up with one that had a nice icemaker with ice and water in the door. The garage isn't plumbed for an ice maker, but it seemed like a waste to not utilize that ice make to have some back up ice ready to go. After a quick search, I found this product. The product is well-packaged and the components seem well-made and surprisingly heavy-duty. Went together in a snap (honestly took about 10-15 min from opening the box to watching it fill the ice maker the first time). I typically dislike plumbing projects but these fittings are nearly fool-proof and worked, leak free, the first time. We've had it for about a week and a half now and the ice maker is full and the water out of the door is cold and refreshing (great for when we come back from a bike ride or have been working in the yard). Of course, I cannot comment on longevity but the set up and initial functionality has exceeded my expectations at this point. Downside is that you'll need a large water bottle as a reservoir. We already keep some of these 5 gallon bottles around for drinking water in a water cooler we keep in the house. If you don't already have one of these bottles, in our area, you can pick up a full one at most grocery stores with a filled 5 gallon bottle costing about $14. Subsequently, you can trade it in for a filled one for around $6-7. However, if you wanted to, once you have the first one, you could just refill it with tap water and save a trip to the store. Another issue is that you'll need to have a spot for the water bottle/reservoir relatively near the fridge, but the kit comes with ample tubing (I think around 20 feet) to give flexibility in positioning the unit.

Perfect for the cottage!
We wanted to solve the problem of dispensing drinking water in our renovated cottage kitchen. We hooked this up to a tap and it works beautifully. Only when the tap is dispensing the water do you hear the pump which is only on for a few seconds while the water is flowing. We generally use the usual 18L plastic mineral water bottles but you can also use any large water bottle container deep enough for length of the piece that sucks the water up and hold it upright. If you are designing a new kitchen, a standard sized under the counter cupboard is the perfect place to put an electrical outlet and house the bottle near your kitchen sink. So far since June with regular use it is working well. Good-bye to flipping over huge bottles of water onto a water cooler!

Útil y funciona
Fácil de instalar, apenas te das cuenta que está trabando. Adiós al problema del agua para el refrigerador. Evita que cambies el filtro del refri al utilizar agua del garrafón.
