SideTrak Solo HD 15.8" Triple

At first I couldn't get both monitors to display at full brightness. Instead of calling their support I tried many other tricks I know to resolve this...That was my mistake, I got frustrated and gave up. Today I decided to call their Toll Free Customer service to get to the bottom of the issue.Talk about "User Error" Oh My God. I consider myself technically savvy but I was not aware the button on the side that controls volume when depressed brings up a menu that allows the user to control BRIGHTNESS as well as several other things. Within 2 minutes of calling their support I had the problem solved and I was happily back to remote work.All of that said, with the problem resolved these monitors rock. They are bright, crisp and very clear. I have seen some other reviews say they are pricey but having worked with other similar devices I can say these are worth it. They are the best add on monitors I have worked with and I have been working remote from home for 15 years...waaaaay before it was Covid Cool.

I tested the setup of the two screens along with my ThinkPad that came from work. Been working remote for a few years and figured I needed a portable monitor to work anywhere. These are pricey but worth it. I was thinking of getting the touch pad ones, but it is not needed for the work I do. All the cables do work. In order to extend to the second screen the power which is usb c to usb must be connected and the mini hdmi to hdmi also has to be connected to one of the screens. With that being said it uses all of my ports on my laptop. This will either work for you, or you can invest in a hub that has all the connections so you can have available ports on your laptop.I knocked off a couple of stars for a reason. First of all for the price of these two monitors both should come with a carrying case and second a hub. If these modifications were in place this would be a 5 star product.

I bought a similar product several months ago but the Sidetrack is head and shoulders better.

This works great. I teach computer graphics in a online/remote setting. These give me the screen space to operate whatever Adobe program I am demonstrating, a screen for Zoom, and a spare screen to keep track of email and my lesson plan.

I have really been enjoying the monitors. Work great for work. love that i can also play my switch and xbox on them! Highly recommended.

Would be better if I could buy them for a colleague, but they won’t send to Canada.

Both my wife and I are able to work remotely now so we've figured out how to take advantage of being able to work from anywhere especially places that are sunnier than our home in Oregon.These screens are very functional. While they aren't quite as bright and clear as my MacBook's screen they are plenty good enough to get the job done.I was interested in not being able to see any specs for the screens so I looked them up on their website so here they are:Screen Size: 15.8"Panel Type: IPSDisplay Type: LEDResolution: 1920x1080Brightness: 300 cd/m2Response Time: 9 msRefresh Rate: 60 HzAspect Ratio: 16:9Contrast Ratio: 800:1Power Consumption: 8W ​The brightness is the one area where I feel like these screens are lacking. In real-life use, I'm always using the screens inside so it isn't a huge issue but I do find that I need to have the screen brightness maxed all the time.I find the naming of the screens a little confusing. This is the "Triple" which includes the screen you already have in the 2 so it is just two displays you are buying. It is also worth noting that the only difference between the "Triple" dual-screen and the "Pro" single-screen is that when you order the "Triple", you get two completely separate boxes. Two of the ones that you get if you are buying the single. So there is no reason to not order the "Triple" if you are wanting two of them. Much of the time I only use one and my wife uses the other.I really like that the screens can be powered and driven via a single USB-C port which is an elegant solution.Other than the brightness my only complaint is that the screens don't come with any protection. I know you don't expect a laptop to come with a sleeve but I expected that these displays would come with even a very thin dust cover to allow you to carry them with your laptop without having to fear scuffing or scratching. I feel that these screens are being sold at a slight premium over the generic Chinese screens and part of that would be including an inexpensive cover. I absolutely love this setup. The monitors work flawlessly with both my Windows PC and my work Macbook laptop. I use them daily with my Macbook for work and they are perfect for my needs. I love the kickstand so you don't need any sort of stand to prop them up on your desk. They are light and travel well and I can tell you without a DOUBT they can take a beating. They have fallen off my desk (from at least 5 foot off the ground) onto the floor a few times and they keep on plugging away like nothing happened. Truly impressive. The colors are rich, sharp and vibrant and they even have built in speakers. Easily connects to my work laptop with the included USB-C cable right out of the box. The brightness can be adjusted as well, making it easier on the eyes as the day goes on. I HIGHLY recommend Side Trak. I am super impressed and tell all my work buddies about them.
