Never get caught without it!
A must-have for for paint bag, if youโre a painter. This handy tool by Stanley dresses newly painted windows better than any brand of this tool Iโve used - and Iโve used plenty.Whether youโre a pro, a novice or a DIYer, this handy little scraper - if you want to call it that - leaves exactly the right amount of paint next to the panes to ensure that proper seal, and to match the exterior/interior of your window panes leaving you with the perfect paint job.Do yourselves a favor and never be without it. Trust me - you wonโt regret it!

Great tool
Favorite razor tool. I use it for cleaning glass (I own a restoration company). Angle is great and easy to use. Blades easy to remove and replace. Good, solid product. I have about 5!

It would be SO MUCH BETTER in metal
This scraper is exactly what you've wanted - a big step up from the paint scrapers that use your father's old single edge razor blades - instead, using readily available utility blades. It works perfectly, but the light-weight plastic construction does not instill confidence - you won't want to bear down on it, and changing the blade feels dangerous. Now, if they offered a similar design in metal, with a hinged or sliding cover for the blade, that would be a big step up.

Holds Stanley Utility blade
I tried another scraper while waiting for these to arrive...the blade was smaller over all and flimsy...I had a pack of Stanleys, originally 100, that I've had for years. How many years? Definitely more than 10. Not to disparage China, for no doubt they made this product too, but the Stanley blades were actually made in the USA. They are wider, thicker stronger, and longer lasting. It's a window scraper, I use it to scrape paint off windows. Duh. Works great.

The best specially due to its shape
I have used this scraper in my cleaning business for many many years. The curved shape allows us to clean windows on the outside although we have to attach an extension pole and tape it. Would be great if Stanley could create that.

Works great at scraping aquarium glass!
Better than traditional glass cleaners!

all defective, practically useless
Blades do not fit these scrapers. most of the force-bearing edges are at least 1mm away from the edges of the inserted blade, except for the outside edges visible from the bottom, where all of the force ends up squeezing the blade and making it bow up in the center. those edges alone can't keep the blade centered, so one corner immediately starts gouging into whatever you're scraping while the rest does nothing. if the blade is forced against all the other faces (cutting into the top two), the blade is then too "short" and hence too steep, so the whole edge, now straight and centered, digs in too aggressively.by dragging them backwards along 400 grit sandpaper until the angle of the blade was changed, I was able to get some use out of them. fixing the damage they did took more time than they could have saved.I had previously bought the "same" product at a brick-and-mortar store and did not have this problem (both marked made in England even). these scrapers also had some odd nicks and gouges, as though from the included blade having been inserted forcefully and carelessly.because the top and bottom diagonal edges do not match, this problem cannot have been a result of mismatched blades, and I tried the correct replacement blades with no improvement.Pictured: an unused scraper with the blade not able to seat or center itself, and already pressing into the front corners visible from the bottom. on top the blade isn't seated against the edges (or centered) and there is plastic debris along both, with the blade having been gouged into the plastic on one side.
