do the cars handle like in hot pursuit?

It really depends on what car you're driving. They're not slow or boring. Use the e-brake and you will be winning easy. At the beginning anyways...

Do I have to earn credits to buy cars or I can choose as many as I want to. Can I play two players split screen mode in offline mode thx

You have to earn credits to buy cars and you can't choose as many as you want to. If you sell a car, like in real life, they're worth less. So choose wisely. Still, I love this game. its awsome and the way the passing lights are reflected on the cars using hd tv is just eyecandy. And yes you can play split screen offline. Recomended.
