Can you control both a heater and pump for this device or need 2?

This model UBTW01A can only control the devices simultaneously.

The UBTW01A wifi box timer can only control the below devices:
1. one 120V, not exceed 1HP
2. two 120V (Simultaneously), not exceed 1HP each
3. one 240V, not exceed 2HP
4. two 240V (in series connection), not exceed 2HP total
5. one 270V, not exceed 1HP
6. two 270V (Simultaneously), not exceed 1HP each

If you want to control 2 devices independently, you need 2 timers or another model UBTW02T.

Question 2

Can this be removed from the included box and mounted in a weatherproof subpanel?  Replacing an Intermatic mechanical timer that's mounted that way.

I believe Suraielec now offers a wi-fi option that comes in a weatherproof enclosure. I believe you can remove the plastic box from the original, but I would have to know the exact dimensions of the Intermatic and Suraielec subpanels to correctly answer your question.
