Can I export the lists to excel

Will this product work with Windows 8. I have purchased 3 scanners so far and had to send them back because of incapability

Yes, it does work with Windows 8. I did not have any problems. However, I was very disappointed with its ability to read business cards accurately. I spent considerable time correcting the inaccuracies. I ended up purchasing a ScanSnap S1300i. It is much more accurate - not perfect but more accurate than the World Card Pro. Plus the S1300i is more versatile in terms of having the ability to scan both side of business cards and scanning paperwork. Hope this helps.

Windows 2016 anyone tried?

I'm not sure what you mean by Windows 2016. I use Windows 10 (the latest version that I'm aware of) and Office 2016 (including Outlook), and it the unit works with them.

I want to use this product to scan playing card decks. Is there a mode to just save the card as an image file, and is it good quality?

It is specifically set up to "read" business cards - I personally don't think you would be happy with the image.I would just buy a desktop scanner that you can set to specific sizes to capture your playing cards as jpegfiles.
