Q: What is the total lumens?

Bought our first one at a local lumberyard and are now buying the twin pack on Amazon cuz store is sold out of this light. We just installed ours by our garden shed. It lights up most of our backyard!! We have it on motion sensor. 290-310 lumens but the light is bright and almost blinding!! I have read many of the other reviews which weren’t very kind to this light. I have not experienced any of their issues. The instructions are very easy to use and turning on the light itself is easy. You push it left or you push it right. Simple! Don’t forget to press “motion” on the remote control.

Q: can the solar panel be detached and mounted remotely?

How do I detach the solar panel and how long is the wire? I have the devise mounted under a canopy and have to put the solar panel on top of the canopy to get light

Q: I installed the light but there hasn't been much sun lately. Do u have to precharge the light b4 it works? How do u charge it?

I did not. I put it out in the afternoon and it worked fine. The solar panel got covered with snow one tome and it still charged.
