Now a major motion picture starring Maika Monroe and Tyriq Withers. A New York Times bestseller. A troubled young mother yearns for a shot at redemption in this heartbreaking yet hopeful story from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover. After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself. The only person who hasn’t closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna’s daughter. But if anyone were to discover how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna’s life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them. The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past in order to build a future out of hope and healing. Review: Heartwarming. - This story highlights the moral bounds that come through an unexpected tragedy. It is beautifully written, captivating from start to finish. The play between the two main characters is wonderfully intertwined that the flow of the start feels so natural. I lovely book to read. Review: Reminders Of Him - Wow, ‘Reminders Of Him’ was absolutely fabulous and Kenna’s story hit me hard! This girl had been through hell - she was trying to make a better life for herself and connect with her daughter after she made a mistake which result her sentenced to prison for 5 years. I hate the way Scott’s parents treated Kenna and it broke my heart that they won’t allow Kenna to meet her little girl. Things changed when Kenna got herself involved with Scott’s best friend, Ledger and the truth started to come out about what really happened that night that Scott died. I was rooting for Kenna and Ledger from the start and I am so in love with this story! So happy that they finally got their happily ending! I enjoyed reading this book with my insta book buddy. I’m telling you that you need to read ‘Reminders Of Him’ if you haven’t yet as it’s totally worth the read! Just trust me on this!

Really good.
I was a bit dubious at the start. Read 1 chapter, then left it for a bit. Then listened to another couple of chapters on audio, think that might have been the problem. Don’t like other voices reading the words, if you know what I mean. Stuck to reading the rest myself and really enjoyed it. Sad, hopeful, worrying that everything is going to work out. Definitely would recommend - not on audio though 😀

Emotional, Heartbreaking, and Beautifully Written
This book had me completely in my feelings from start to finish. It’s such an emotional, powerful story about love, loss, and redemption that really stays with you long after you’ve finished. I found myself tearing up more than once. It’s one of those books that pulls at your heartstrings the whole way through, leaving you both heartbroken and hopeful at the same time with a very satisfying ending.

Another sensitive, moving and wholesome story about family, forgiveness, and second chances
I’ve only read two of Colleen Hoover’s books so far, but they have both been five-star reads for me so I immediately pre-ordered this one as soon as I could. Reminders Of Him is another sensitive, moving and wholesome story about family, forgiveness, and second chances. Hoover’s books are always so easy to drift into, and this is exactly the same with characters who are easy to engage with and a story that grips you emotionally from the get-go. Any time that it was mentioned that Kenna couldn’t see her daughter or that she hadn’t even met her yet, despite giving birth to her, my heart absolutely ached. I can’t imagine how it would feel to not know what your child looks like, what their interests are, or how they act. And because you don’t know what Kenna did in her past at the start, you begin to question a mother’s right to have a relationship with their child and where you think those boundaries lie. Alternating between narratives by Kenna and Ledger, these interchanging points of view really draws you in emotionally. Kenna doesn’t give too much away at first so her intentions are questionable, as Ledger’s narration shows the conflicts between why people are finding it difficult to forgive her and why she deserves a second chance. Kenna’s letters to Scottie then begin to fill in the blanks, which really reflect her pain. And soon enough, all you want is the most over-top happy endings possible as you begin to feel Kenna’s desperation to just see her daughter, even if only once. I found some of the romantic scenes a little cringey, but then I also found myself swooning over lines such as “He smells like limes and bad decisions.” I feel like I learnt something new about myself with that one… But that aside, I felt fully invested in this story and its characters. Did Reminders Of Him leave me sobbing in an uncontrollable mess? No. But it was such a lovely read that tugged on my heartstrings, and that ending was just perfect.

Good if you like her books
I like the story, it had me going through the motions, I’ve read a few of her books but I’m just not a massive fan of Colleen hoovers writing unfortunately

nice little read
I did enjoy this book, it wasn’t one of favourites that Colleen has wrote but still a good read, it made me smile, it’s sad in places & it’s romantic. Definitely recommend reading if you like a romance book..

Good read
I really liked this one. I wanted to continue reading it. I think the book can be read en by 15 years olds but also 45 years olds. One of Colleen hoovers best books after Verity

Overrated and slow
Bought three books from Colleen Hoover and as always … you can easily skip 10 chapters and not miss a thing. Good initial plots but horrible writing and absolutely no developments. I stopped the agony in the middle of the third book and threw them all away.
