Just wright stars queen latifah (bringing down the house; valentine's day) as leslie wright; a straight-shooting physical therapist who gets the gig of a lifetime working with nba all-star scott mcknight (common date night). All is going well until leslie finds herself falling for scott; forcing her to choose between the gig of a lifetime and the tug-of-war inside her heart. Oblivious to her romantic overtures; mcknight is instead drawn to the affections of leslie's gorgeous childhood friend morgan (paula patton - precious); who has her sights set on being an nba trophy wife. Is leslie destined to play the role of "best friend" forever or will scott finally see that what he always wanted is right in front of him? Set against the exciting world of championship basketball; the game of love takes on the battle of the sexes in the romantic sports comedy just wright; starring three of hollywood's most charismatic personalities as they navigate the full-court-press of love. Review: Great Movie & I bought it! - Just Wright is a romantic comedy starring Queen Latifah and Common. The story follows Leslie Wright, a kind and down to earth physical therapist who lands her dream job working with a professional basketball player, Scott McKnight, after he gets injured. At first, Scott is interested in Leslie’s glamorous friend, but as he goes through rehab, he begins to notice Leslie’s genuine personality, care, and support. Over time, their relationship shifts from professional to personal as she helps him recover both physically and emotionally. It’s a feel good movie about self worth, authenticity, and finding love when you’re not trying to be someone else. Queen Latifah’s performance is really the heart of it, giving the film warmth and charm. Get the Popcorn and enjoy! Review: Wonderful movie! - Wonderful love story, funny, sad, heartbreaking with a happy ending!!! I could watch it again and again, and again!!! Hope the upcoming sequel is just as engaging!

I love this movie
This is one of my favorite movies. Queen Latifah and Common have so much chemistry, even though I found Common's acting stiff. Luckily, it didn't distract from the movie, which was well done. I liked Phylicia Rashad's role as Common's mother. She is natural in her acting which always make her a stand out in movies, and television shows. The love story was nice and the ending cute. I would recommend this to romance buffs.

Fantastic !!!
Latifah plays Leslie Wright, an unlucky in love physical therapist trying to find Mr Right. Unfortunately this proves to be harder then she thought. Determined to find the one she can't live without, she won't settle for second best. A huge NBA fan she is thrilled when she meets NBA all-star player, Scott McKnight,(Common),at a gas station. Funny and charming, he is not what she imagined. But as soon as he meets her younger cousin Morgan, Leslie is regulated again to the friend category. Morgan is beautiful and has always dreamed of being the wife of an all-star NBA player. She sees Scott as her chance to be somebody and before long the two are engaged. It looks like she will get her wish until a basketball accident threatens to disrupt her carefully laid plans. With an injured knee, Scott is unable to play until it has healed, but amidst contract negotiations and the play offs coming up there is a danger he won't be resigned if he doesn't get back to the court soon. The idea of marrying a has-been player forces Morgan to reconsider their engagement. She calls in Leslie to help rehabilitate Scott, but as the weeks pass on and it looks less likely he will succeed, she leaves him. Leslie now has deal with Scott's emotional and physical injuries in time for the play offs or his career could be over. But as the two grow closer throughout the film, they realise they may have found more than they bargained for. This was a brilliant film! What's refreshing about Leslie is that she refuses to be anyone but herself. She believes that she should be loved for who she is which is contrasted brilliantly by Morgan. This contradiction adds great depth to the film, Leslie the smart, funny and genuine woman who never pretends to be anything else, next to Morgan, the selfish and ambitious woman who relies heavily on her beauty, creating a character to hide her true self behind. Both Latifah and Common play great leads throughout, their chemistry adding greatly to the comic and romantic aspects of the film. The basketball element really added to the film, the extra detail gave more depth and believability whilst also making it accessible to everyone. Although a rom-com there is definitely something for the guys in this film, making it a great watch for everyone. If you haven't seen this film I strongly recommend trying, defiantly one of my favourite feel good films! :)
