So I did find out that the batty is a rechargeable AA. So I will re charge and see if the battery lasts longer than a few hrs after a full charge. Oregon weather is not great for solar. I replaced the battery it came with and so far my 14 year old rayovac rechargeable last the much longer at a good 9 hrs with very little sun. But tonight with the cold and rain the solar cell is not sticking to the plastic frame when Turned up side down. Guess I will have to re glue that with a better glue than came. But for 19 bucks I am very happy it is great over all with room to fix some floes.

I thought it would be slightly bigger. For the price it's not very effective.

only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it needs to be up higher to be effective. if you use the spike it comes with the unit is too close to the ground to attract insects. needs to be at least 3 feet high to be useful.

Received the product a couple of days early; GREAT!! After 2 full days of charging in the South Texas sun, neither of them work!! BAD!! I will be returning these for a refund (I hope) and will go to my local home and garden store, pay more, and buy a DC powered one. What a waste. If you are looking for an effective bug zapper, DO NOT buy this one!!!!!

This product worked the first evening I received it but now it will not come in that's why I purchased another set, I would like to return them but to do that would cost too much money.So that is my experience with this item.Thank you
