This is such a fun little set. Though I do wish it came with a case or something. The bus is cool, it announces the letter, the sound of the letter, and a word the letter is in. Then it uses the word in a sentence. It has a little song for each letter and sound, too. It also sings 2 songs with the push of a button. You get all 26 letters. My 2 year old loves it. It’s a durable toy and very versatile. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my grandson and he loves it. It's teaching him phonics with these magnetic letters. You can always count on LeapFrog to give quality, learning toys. He puts these letters on his refrigerator and his siblings and his mother are teaching him how to spell simple words and he's only three. This is such a great gift for young children who want to learn how to read. It's very colorful. They stick very well to the refrigerator and don't slide or fall off. They look very attractive and welcoming. This makes a great gift.

I have an 18 month old and a 4.5 year old. Both love this thing. It’s nice that the letters will have all ways a single letter can be said. It’s also nice that my youngest has been able to play with this since he was younger because there is a button that will just play one of two songs, which was great when he couldn’t turn the shape of the letters to fit yet. Customer service was also great because the first broke within a week but they sent a new one that’s been going strong for months. Only challenge is preventing them from putting the magnets anywhere but the fridge…

This had the potential to be a perfect learning tool. There are many great things and a few not so great features. PROS- * Each letter tile speaks the letter, then sings a song, the same song for each letter highlighting the phonetic sound/sounds that each letter makes. For example: For letter U the song sings, "U says U (as in user) and U says U (as in up), every letter makes a sound U says U (as in user) and U (as in up)." If pressed a second time it also speaks a word that begins with the letter and uses it in a sentence. * The bus itself as well as all of the letters are magnetic. They stick very strongly to a black chalkboard and even fairly strongly to a dry erase white board as well. From the other reviews, it does not seem to stick to true stainless steel refrigerators. Also even if it does stick to other faux stainless steel refrigerators, according to some reviews it will scratch the surface. I would not recommend for steel like refrigerator use unless you don't care about scratches. For my typical white finish GE refrigerator, both the bus and the letters stuck to it very well with no issues * The letters and the bus both have the magnets enclosed in plastic so no concern about children swallowing magnets. * Seems pretty durable. Our high energy 22 month old toddler has thrown and dropped the bus and letters countless times and everything still works. * The letters are easy for my 22 month old to pull out and put in by himself. CONS- * There is a song button on the front that plays Wheels on the bus and the ABC song. Our toddler was totally fixated on this button until I had to use a Jedi mind trick on him to press the letters instead. 🙃 (Whenever he pressed the Wheels on the bus button I wouldn't react but when he pressed a letter, I would clap and sing along.) This caused him to lose interest in the song button and pay attention to the letters. This button was an unneccesary distraction to him learning his ABCs in my opinion. * There are two volumes. One is fairly low and the other is very loud. I try to keep it on the lower volume but they placed the control right on the front where the children can reach it so our child is always turning it up. 😾 * If the child repeatedly pushes the letter it will keep stating the name of the letter over and over. Our toddler enjoys doing this and sometimes gets fancy as if he is a DJ scratching a record, lol. * Some of the letter tiles will inevitably get lost, but I haven't seen where I can just buy a replacement set of letters without purchasing the whole bus/letters set over again.

Terrific learning tool for toddlers. Long-lasting battery. Great product. I bought 2 different types, one for his house and one for Nana's house.

I've had one of these for both of my children over the years and one on my moms fridge. The kids love them as the tune's are very catchy.

Its 1 of the most fantastic toys undoubtedly, that teaches alphabet, phonics n sentences too. My 22 month old daughter is so fascinated with them.....though she doenst recognize all the alphabet letters yet, except a,b and c, yet she loves repeating after the sentences and dances to the rhymes.....wheels of the bus and the alphabet song. Its an ideal toy to improve vocab. I wish it sung a few more rhymes though. Still, its 1 of my daughter's favourites.

I had this for my children and have now purchased for my grandson. It's a great "toy" that's educational and helps build language skills while having fun.
