Madison Queen Solid Wood Panel Headboard, Walnut

Beautiful piece! High quality solid wood. Easy to assemble and attach to bed frame.

I've given this headboard five stars because it met our expectations. It is nice looking and was easy to assemble. We had no issues with the quality, an issue raised by some reviewers. The finish (white) was evenly applied and we found no imperfections. We installed this item in our guest bedroom, which gets very little use. It is not as rigid as we would like, but this is more due to the nature of the connection to the bed frame than to a deficiency in the headboard itself. A more robust/heavier headboard would probably not have this problem, and buyers looking for a "full time" headboard might be well advised to spend a bit more or look at alternative methods to attach to the frame (some frames have a "bayonet" fitting that would fit into the slots also provided in the headboard). This headboard came with a USB outlet that could be installed on one of the legs. We did not use it since we have conventional outlets on either side of the bed.

This headboard was lovely, well built, easy to assemble, and offered at a good price but it does not fit on every type of metal bed frame such as the newer Zinus (and other platform bed brands) frames. I bought 2 of these headboards with one being at a lower price and listed as used. What I received in that box was a bunch of random looking metal parts. It was not even remotely the product that I had purchased. I'm assuming that this issue was with however the returns are processed on Amazon. The headboard that was new and unopened was very nice but had to be returned because it would not fit on my metal bed frames. I still feel like this furniture company is offering quality, affordable items and I would order from them again.

This item arrived damaged. Appears as though something was stacked against the package, and it busted the thin wooden panel. Now we have to go thru the process of having Amazon send out someone to repackage the item so it can be picked up for shipment so it can then be refunded. What an insane hassle when it was Amazon’s fault that it was busted. In addition, the item is overall pretty but obviously not high quality as seen by the defect in the other panel.

Solid, real wood! Attached easily and you can even mount without the pre drilled holes if youre handy because its sturdy and real wood not mdf or particle board. Added a nice look to the room. USB charger a neat addition if you need it.

Really nice wood. I was surprised at the quality, and I am a woodworker. The parts to put the headboard together were well thought out. The directions were excellent and the clear plastic sleeve the directions came in was well done. Excellent value for the money.

Not hard wood, certainly not walnut. Incredibly light and wasn’t packaged very well, was damaged on back side. Looks good but is definitely expensive/overpriced for what it is. It’ll do the job for now but if you’re looking for a long lasting nice quality wood headboard, I would purchase elsewhere.
