Length of the cord(s) ?

There are a couple of different ways to measure this cord. From the flat end of the male connector to the flat end of either of the two female connectors is 34cm (13.4in), exactly. After plugging in the cords, I would expect the usable length of each leg to to be about 30cm/12in. Without overstretching the cord, I can separate the two female ends to 19.0in (48.2cm) -- again, measured flat end to flat end.

I have a dual monitor set up of hp pavilion 21.5-inch ips led hdmi vga monitors. the power supplies to both of them take up quite a bit of space so i'm wondering if this will work to power both monitors to the same power supply.

The 3 prongs on male end appear to be rectangular, rather than having the circular ground prong. Will the male end plug into standard AC wall socket?

hello,thank you for your question. yes,the 3 prongs all are rectangular.this is a standard c14 connector. this Y splitter is for extension, not connect with the wall socket directly. that with a circular ground prong is another plug,the name is nema 5-15p, i will list one later.you can check again.

What gauge wire is this?

The description says it can handle up to 10 amps. After a quick google search, only 18 gauge wires can handle up to 10 amps
