Men's Journal

Started reading this magazine when my son got a subscription. When he moved out and took his magazine with him I was forced to buy my copies at the grocery store. Finally I decided to endure the grief my daughters gave me and be the first Mom on the block with my own subscription to Mens Journal. This magazine is full of great information and health tips! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

easily 5 stars, and why not. This magazine is great! Keep in mind, I'm now over 60 in age, yet these pages keep me reading. But, more importantly, informed. Whether it's about meatless burgers, or the best beer in each state, or concerns about health, I am staying up to date.

I ordered this magazine (Men’s Journal) through Amazon June 19th, 2015 for a bargain price. I just received my first (September-2015) issue (August 7, 2015) which took a month and a half. I found the magazine to have many interesting articles and departments. I especially enjoyed reading Style & Design 2015, Secrets of a secret agent by Josh Eells and The lethal thrills of BASE jumping by Phil Klay. Other departments include: Record book, four-day week-end, adventure, travel, dispatch, food, spirits, fashion and essay. I also enjoyed the health & fitness section explaining the facts about eating red meat. The last word column was also interesting with an interview with Merle Haggard. This magazine is aimed obviously at the young professional man who likes cars, tech tools and adventure hobbies. If you are into fashion, cars, high tech tools and adventure you should check out this men’s magazine. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Pro-Systems Combatives Vol. 1,2).

First, this magazine has a wide variety of entertaining content and is able to provide a substantial amount of reading time. The one downside are the "hidden" sponsorships/ads. I feel like most magazines of this type do this so I can't really ding them for it though.

I found, that with many of my magazines, they end up in a pile eventually making their way to the recycling bin never being read. This is not the case with Men's Journal. Most magazines have seem to have become more about advertisements rather than good articles. This has yet to be an issue with Men's Journal. Having said that, if that were to change I would end my subscription like I have with so many others.

I am always really impressed with the quality of the writing in this magazine. It is one of the few magazines I read almost cover to cover, possible the only one. Sometimes some of the physical fitness advices seems a little off kilter, but I am OK with that.

I don't wanna hate on this magazine bc I think it's fine, I just cannot believe how incompetent the people who control it's distribution are. This is the third year they've re-subscribed me and raised the rates without any notification. Every time I try to call and cancel it they tell me they can't. I'm literally deleting my Amazon account today. I'm normally pretty patient with customer service bc they have a very hard job but seriously... Plenty good articles tho ;p

Bought this magazine on a lark and have found it a good read every month when it arrives. Lots of gems of information for diet, health and many other informational articles. Got a great deal on the magazine via amazon.
