These iconic British treats feature crisp piecrust, moist almond-flavored sponge cake, cherry puree, hard sugar icing and a delectable glace cherry on top. Each round tart is about two inches across. The almond and cherry flavors are a match made in heaven! The abundant icing makes them a bit too sweet in my humble opinion, but still delicious! (Brits are forever saying that Americans like things sweeter than they do, but the Bakewell tart makes a good argument to the contrary!) The box took quite some time to arrive from Britain, but its contents were absolutely fresh and altogether enjoyable. I'm always careful to save the cherry for my last bite!

These are tasty and arrived in remarkably good shape. My only complaint is that these pencil out to $1.60 per tart. They are small so I'm not sure everyone would consider then a good buy but I keep reminding myself that they ARE shipped from England. I guess when you factor that in, the price is o.k.

We ordered this on Jan 14, 2023 and it arrived on Feb 14, 2023. Not bad given this is from the UK. The product arrived fresh and intact. We enjoy watching a UK TV program that shows how various food items are made; one of them was this product. It piqued our interest so we ordered two boxes. Both my wife and I were pleased with the flavor of this treat. She likes to warm it up a bit in the microwave, while I like it straight out of the pantry. If you're looking to try an English treat, give Mr. Kipling Cherry Bakewells a try!

I'm in love with these. I've missed them so much, and they're exactly how I remember, shipping is slower than I would like, but it comes in tact which is all that matters.

Not as good as I remember when I lived in England

What an extreme disappointment!dissappear, These little tea cakes looked so adorable! I gave these Mr. Kipling cakes 1 star because I couldn't give NO stars. Two boxes of these beautifully illistrated cakes, in the order descroʻlooû were put into a slightly larger box only slight and without any room for packaging. On top of the 2 fragile boxes of cakes, there were only 2 pieces of approximately 12" squares of thin brown barely crumpled paper, a sad attempt to show care. The cakes were smashed, crumbling, and the melted icing was smeared inside the clear cellophane wrapping. They arrived in such terrible condition that I couldn't serve them to friends at a birthday tea, which was my reason for ordering. A complete waste of money. I was extremely disappointed at the lack of care by the packaaging and shipping of these delicate tea cakes. I should have known better than without it crumbling to crumbs. So I used a spoon to get a taste sample. They were so sickeningly sweet. Let the buyer beware. I'm
