Brilliant bible
Ideal for use with Jeff Cavin courses and bible in a year podcast with fr Mike Schmitz, if buying again though I would go for a leather cover, cover on this isn’t great

Sadly disappointed by this purchase. Had high hopes of good explanations and backgrounds as promised but very sketchy and only in certain sections.

私が知っている英訳の聖書のなかで，いちばん簡単な単語を使って書いてある。あまりにも簡単すぎて，それが弊害になっているのではないかと危惧するほどだ。これなら，旺文社の『英単語ターゲット1900』を8割憶えていればなんとかなるだろう。 四福音書をひとまとめにして要約があるのも，普段聖書をきちんと読んでいないような罰当たりな信者にとってはありがたい。欲をいえば，例え話(ぶどうの木の話)一覧とか，「義」という単語がどこに何カ所あるかとか資料をつけておいていただけると助かる。医学書のように索引を完備してほしい。重要な単語も抜き書きしておいていただけると読者の便宜をさらに図ってもらえる，素晴らしく精度の高い聖書になる。まったく怠惰な信者の要望だ。 それにしても2021年5月31日発行で，もうないってどういうこと？？？

The Best Bible ever!
You can tell how much time and effort Jeff Cavins and other contributors have put forth making this Bible, From the detailed timeline map for each book to the well-crafted summaries and narratives, and the representation of the covenant structure of salvation history. Engaging with this Bible along with Father Mike Schmitz 'Bible in a year' podcast has been such a divine experience!

Excelente Bíblia!!!
Linda Bíblia. Chegou certinho, bem embalada. É exatamente como anunciada. É a mesma utilizada pelo Father Mike Schmitz no podcast “Bible in a Year”. Contém muitas explicações, contextos, cores. A qualidade do papel é boa, dá para escrever com canetas coloridas, não marca o verso da folha. O tamanho das letras é bom. Recomendo!!

Must-have for Bible in a Year!
This is a must-have if you’re doing Fr. Mike’s Bible in a Year program! I have done the program twice. The first time, I did it just by listening. The second time, I bought this Bible and it greatly enhanced the experience by being able to follow along. I now understand the Bible better than ever before! I also purchased the Bible tabs that go with this and they are really nice to have as well.
