Worked perfect on 2005 Chevy silverado
Worked perfect on 2005 Chevy silverado. Use the provided face plate and that locks in the 2 side plates used to mount the head unit to factory location. There are some spacers included in case the head unit needs to be spaced out to meet flush with the trim bezel. Do not throw those away.

Preferred Install Kit
Perfect fit for replacing the stock radio. Make sure to follow the instructions so it gets installed correctly. Install tip: On the silverado/tahoe dashes, some of the double din radios are slightly longer then the stock one. Due to this, it hits the stock radio bracket and that prevent the radio from sitting all the way in. Take a dremal or a oscillating tool and remove the area that it is hitting (every radio is different) so the radio sits flush. If you try to for it, you will break this bracket and will have to buy a new one.

Dix the job with minor modifications.
The holes did not line up properly for my radio. With a dremel and a little patience I was able to make it fit it bolted, right in just like it should into my blazer. They did the job.

Year advertising does not match fitment.
Wrong description. The ad I bought from states it will fit 1994 to 2012. It does not.

Came melted…
Works but it came half melted. Not exactly sure what happened. But it’s literally melted. Mashed it back into place with a torch and pliers to try and straighten everything out as much as I could. It’s hidden behind the dash so I couldn’t really care what it looks like. As long as it still functions.

Double din radio holding bracket
Perfect for my 04 Yukon double din radio.

Just what I needed. My new stereo/ head unit fit perfectly. The video RCA cable comes straight out the back of my unit so I drilled a hole in to accept the RCA cable. Stereo did not fit perfectly flush so I used the 2 spacers that came with this and it looks professionally installed.
